Appliance Repair
I feel sure he broke this. He claims that the dishwasher came broken, but if this was the case, why wouldn?t he have shown me? He didn?t want me in the kitchen while he was working, he mumbled the whole time and when the installation was complete he tried to walk out without even showing me how the dishwasher worked! I asked him for a card which he said was in his truck. When he went out to get them he actually left, he didn?t even come back! I called him immediately at the only number we had for him and he answered, but said there was no Jefferson and a Jefferson wasn?t there. He lied directly to me! He denied everything and wouldn?t come back to my house to look at this. He told me to call the home warranty company if I wasn?t happy so I did. Even the home warranty company thinks the number above is for the company directly. I was very reasonable with Jefferson, all I want is the silverware basket for my dishwasher replaced.

The technician from the company had no respect neither to the new appliance (dishwasher) nor to the customer. He left dirt everywhere, scratches on the floor, etc. It was a miracle he did not scratch the new dishwasher. The installation instructions said to put the dishwasher on its back (necessary step to connect hoses), but he put it upside down on its top putting unnecessary weight on the door that could damage it during the manipulation. Some outer insulation was messed up when he was putting it under the counter. Below are a couple of other requirements and recommendations from the installation instructions that were not met/followed: 1) "Make sure to connect drain hose to waste tee or disposer inlet above drain trap in house plumbing and 20" (50.8 cm) minimum above the floor. It is recommended that the drain hose either be looped up and securely fastened to the underside of the counter, or be connected to an air gap." - he did this incorrectly. The improper connection could result in flowing water from the sink into the dishwasher. I had to fix it myself! 2) "Install moisture barrier (under a wood countertop)" - he did not mention nor installed that. Now I have to find and install the barrier myself. The bottom line is, people from this company are unprofessional and unfriendly. Please do yourself a favor and find a company with better reputation, or do the installation yourself (the installation instructions are actually very useful).
