Joel came and provided a quote to tear down our 25 year old existing wood deck and rebuild it with Trex composite. Joel is not the cheapest priced but he makes up for it in his outstanding quality and perfection by him and his crew. No corner cutting always by the local building code....They started the job on time and stayed on the job until completed. I highly recommend Joel and would diffidently use him again

Great! Joel and his crew were perfectionists. They worked very well together to create a beautiful, solid and well-built Trex deck. They worked through rain and heat to have it finished in four days. After the deck was finished, they built the new railing for our front porch. Everything was completed and totally cleaned up in five days. Joel and his crew were very pleasant, hard-working, and knowledgeable. The work was well-done and reasonably priced, and we are very happy with JDR Home Improvements!

good communication and explanation of what was needed. only beef was that the price for materials seemed high -- 50 for wood and wood sealer. I bought the paint. wasn't worth fighting over though, since the quality of the job was fine....maybe 20 bucks overpriced.

My wife and I purchased a complete deck installation from Lowes Home Improvement.  We were very satisfied with JDR Home Improvements.  JDR is the contractor that Lowes in Gibsonia, PA uses for deck construction.  We spoke to and worked with the owner, Joel Resnick, directly after working with the Lowes salesman.  Joel was very knowledgable and professional, as were the carpenters working for him.  Joel stepped in and dealt with Lowes on our behalf when Lowes made mistakes or weren't helpful.  Joel and his crew cared about our satisfaction and did not take any shortcuts in the construction process.  We are very happy with the construction, materials, and craftsmanship of our deck.  I would definately recommend JDR and will use them in the future if another project arises.  Thanks again Joel
