I wish I could comment on quality of work, but I can't because work was never performed. Repeated no-shows and finally now just not responding to messages at all.

I was referred to Todd in 2016 by my real estate agent. I was told by Todd that the $150 inspection fee would be refunded to me if I went with his company. Work was completed a couple days after he said he would. Claimed everything was cleaned up, but really it was dumped down my gutter and into the alley way where people drive. After 2 years, countless emails of excuses, and one finally letting me know that he stole my money, I finally understand that he never intended to give my money back to me. The work was shotty as it failed and water is now coming into my master bedroom from where the chimney is. I would avoid this company.

Out of several roofing repair companies only Todd of J&D was willing to come out the next day and take a look at what was causing the leak. He found that close to a dozen shingles were missing exposing wood. Any significant rain would further the interior damage. We paid a reasonable emergency surcharge to have J&D come out and fix the damage the next day. About an hour after Todd repaired the roof we had a downpour followed by 2 days of steady rain. This was not a big job for Todd but he recognized the urgent need for repair and went out of his way to accommodate our situation

Originally, the work was scheduled to be done either May 1st, or May 8th. Both days came and went without any work being performed, and more importantly no contact explaining that they had to push the date back.
I attempted to contact Todd both directly and through the office phone number. I received no response from them at all. I ended up contacting my Real Estate agent, who originally suggested him, who got a hold of him and told me he'd be calling me shortly, and he did.
We discussed a reschedule for May 22nd or 23rd. Again, both days came and went with no work done or contact explaining that they had to push it back again.
The next week, I attempted to contact them again to no avail. I had to get my real estate agent to contact him again. He called me back and apologized for all of the delays and said that he would be out on the 30th to do the work. He was there on that day.
The job itself went fine and I'm happy with the work that was performed. Todd was professional and apologized to me about all of the delays, but the entire process was extremely frustrating due to the lack of communication and how hard it was to get a hold of somebody.

Todd returned my call within hours of leaving a message and was able to come to our house to provide an estimate the same day. He inspected the gutter and said that everything looked fine, except that we needed to have the gutter cleaned. He said that we should not waste our money on him. We really appreciated his honest opinion.
He was very friendly, professional, punctual, and helpful. I am very glad we called.

It took a while for them to get to us because they were so busy. But once they were on the job, they completed it very quickly and professionally.

He showed me how to look at a flat roof, he saved me 36,000 thousand dollars in repairs in a house that I almost bought. They were very good and very professional. He didn't charge me. It was the owner that came out. He was a very honest and personable guy. He was a roofer when he was a kid. I was very pleased. He saved me. If you have a flat roof, hire these guys. They specialize in flat roofs but they do other roofs.

They were timely. They spent a lot of time. They were very nice. The owner came out. They gave me quotes and then separated them out because I have a chimney cap which is shared, so they gave me a quote just for that. They were responsive and trustworthy. He mailed me a PDF quote, which was nice. Their price was fair in comparison to the other quotes that I got. They quoted $1000 for the chimney cap, $400 for the downspout repair, and $2900 for a back porch roof that needed to be entirely replaced.
