"When we first did the work this homeowner said the result was great and originally graded us at an A. He then later posted a review here when he changed his mind rather than contacting us directly. I reached out to him and we ended up going out and touching up an area. Another year went by and he then told me a closet on his second floor that is directly against the roof gets warmer than he'd like on warm days. I advised him that closets, or any rooms for that matter, that are not directly heated or cooled with a designated supply duct, and ALSO abut an exterior wall or surface, will always be hotter or colder than rooms that are being actively heated or cooled. This is true of homes that were built last year, much less homes built 70 years ago. I advised him to leave the door to his closet open to allow cool air from his AC system to access the closet space. For added info, this homeowner had a Cape Cod style home. If you've seen the Insulwise website you'll know that we have a web page fully committed to explaining precisely how we fix these homes. We've done hundreds of them, in some cases 3-5 on the same street, in the past 12 years. We consistently create outstanding results for homeowners that we work for, and if you hire us and you're not happy with something, we won't hesitate to come back out and address it. Always call us if you have questions, we'd love to make your home more comfortable AND energy efficient! Kindest regards, Andy Haak, Owner"

"I was sorry to hear of the dust from doing portions of the interior walls. I found out later there were holes in some of the plastic drop clothes that we use to cover things and that had allowed some dust to get through. I responded to and apologized to the homeowner and took it up with my team first thing the following day. To prevent this at the end of the job my crew chief has to get signed out by the homeowner as well as scored from 1-10 on cleanliness and quality of work. They are awarded bonuses when they score a 9-10, so usually they are very much "in it to win it" in terms of the clean up. The plastic drop clothes have been replaced and I am not expecting a less than excellent result again any time soon! Regards, Andy Haak , Owner"
