Shoe Repair
- Brought a women's leather coat to be shortened in early December 2013. Several contacts with with the owner in January 2014 and February 2014 brought empty promises that the coat would be finished soon. As late as Feb.12 my wife was told that he was going to work on the coat that weekend and he would call . Thursday, Feb. 20, stopped into the shop to find the coat, untouched, hanging on the back door. The owner said and quot;I'll work on this and let you know in a couple days!and quot; We then requested the coat back, with the statement and quot;You've had it for two months.and quot; The owner blurted out and quot;I don't work on this stuff. Take your coat and get out and don't ever come back!and quot; I followed with a retort of my own. We've been in the shop previously and seen other coats there waiting to be worked on. If the guy had no interest in working on the coat, he should have stated as much when we first came in.Apalling way to treat a customer! No apology for the delays or the procrastination. Will never deal with this character again and will advise everyone we know to avoid this business also.
