Well, I got home from work to find that Home Depot completely removed my gutter from the front of my house.  I contacted Homer Depot NUMEROUS times asking when they would finish the job.  Every time Home Depot sent a contractor out to my house I was told by each contractor they don't do wood work--only gutters.  I spoke to the manager--Brian and he stated he would try to find someone to fix my joist problem and then complete the job.  After 5 five weeks, I was tired of waiting and eventually fixed the rotted joists myself and hired another contractor to install the gutters. 
How can a major company not have anyone to complete a small job like fixing joists?  It's beyond me.
On the plus side, I was not charged for the work done on my side porch.

I have a small 1000 sq ft house and wanted whole house carpet.  The price was fine,  the installer came on time.  Since then  I have seams showing,  The installer left something underneath the bedroom carpet.  I will not use home depot for carpeting again.

Behr premium plus ultra is very watery and runs on the wall when applied. This is a dramatic change in texture for the brand, beware the semi gloss before buying.  The assistant store managers John and Tara were very courteous and to make amends a free gallon of the top tier Behr paint was given to me at no charge. A positive step to keep a loyal customer.

Bought a food processor and Home Depot was supposed to send a plumber.
After several calls/follow ups they ended up sending an electrician and
then nothing.. ended up having to look for a plumber to have the food
processor installed.

I chose Home Depot to provide the commode, tile, mortar, grout, paint, shower door and various components for my bathroom remodel. Home Depot has so much more available on-line than they do in the store. They ship it to the store or in some cases to your home (free of charge). The awesome thing is their liberal return policy. I changed my mind fairly often, after a purchase I would take it home only to find that it didn't work with my décor, return it to the store for a full refund, even on custom ordered parts. The end result is stunning, the quality is there and I expect a long service life.

The girl that called seemed reasonable and when she came out, the product seemed good and so I just went with them.  I figured they are a larger company and I wouldn't have to worry.  They did a great job and when they were finished the manager came out and checked everything.  They left everything spotless and I've had no complaints or no problems with the windows at all.  They really went out of their way to save the windows and made sure nothing was cracked as well as stored them in the barns.  They were very good.  I don't know what anyone else's pricing would have been.  I didn't have one bit of problem.

The representitive showed up at my home on time. Looked at and measured the 7 windows I wanted replaced. Gave me a written estimate and left.

I originally contracted with them because the salesperson said that if we chose one of a handful of styles, they would guarantee installation within 7 days. We were having a relative come home from the hospital to stay with us and needed it done quickly. We signed the contract and the following day I received a call from their sub-contractor that the carpet wouldn't be delivered for 11 days. When I pointed out their 7 day guarantee, they said "Oh, that's business days!" I argued that there salesman had specifically gone over the arrangement and said if you sign today, it will be installed one week from today. I then had to call the store and make the same argument with them. They finally agreed and said it would be installed on the 7th day. On the day before the install, I received another call saying the carpet hadn't come in so it would be delayed another day. I had to fight with the installer and store again and was basically told tough luck. 
When the actual day of the install came, the installers didn't arrive until 2pm. I do have to say that the guys worked like madmen and did a good job with the actual install, but by that point there was no way Home Depot could redeem themselves.
I had originally planned on having them do flooring for my entire first floor (a $10,000 job), but because of this, I've gone with another contractor.
The main problem is that while they have deals sent down from their corporate offices, no one has 'ownership' of the process and therefore they don't really care.

Everything went fine. The workers came early in the morning, worked all day, and were done by 5:00PM. I was especially impressed on  well they cleaned up. It was hard to find a scrap of anything.

We love them. . I actually have a gift certificate to pick up from them. Last time I spend 100 $. They are wonderful. I deal with the manager all the time. It took them a year and a half to get front door put in my house. the first time they put it in it was the wrong color the second time they put it in they brought the rough and  it supposed to be smooth and then the third time they put it in it was right but they didn’t have enough keys for us only one key. So actually had to take the whole locking mechanism out and put a new one in were we can get keys made.

My experience there has been pretty good. The people there are helpful.

It wasn't a good process. They had 2 or 3 different people that bid on the roof, siding and windows. One went on vacation and wasn't going to be back for 2 or 3 weeks and we couldn't wait around.  It wasn't one stop like another company. They said they would have one guy come out to talk about the roof, and another for the siding and then another for windows. The bidding process was difficult. It could be better organized. Their quote was reasonable.

We really dreaded having to get a new roof buit it was sooo easy and nothing leaks anymore. This is the abosolute best experience we have had since we purchansed this home 5 yrs. ago.

I would not use them again.

Over it was good.  We decided to do the remodeling ourselves.  Our salesman designed a couple of options (we gutted our kitchen) for the layout.  He did not push us to buy a lot of upgrades and worked with us well to stay within our budget.  I took only 3 weeks from the time the cabinets were ordered until they were delivered.

I would never ever under any circumstance go back to a home depot again after what they did to my door. They took the screen door off and trashed it because they had to resize the door so the screen door didn't fit. They said I had to get a new screen door. I would have never bought the door in the first place if I had to get rid of my screen door. I also had 4 pizzas delivered to my house that I didn't order because the workers ordered them and took off. It wasn't just the store I was dealing with it was a corporate thing. They screw you because when you buy a door they say, oh our doors don't fit your doorway, so you have to pay more. They charge you a 25 dollar fee just to come to your house whether they do the work or not. They eventually gave me my screen door back and it was bent sideways and screwdrivers were stabbed threw the screen.

I did not use them as something came up and couldn't afford at that time. They are a reputable company and I thought that they would be qualified to do the work. They also had all certification needed to start work. They had pretty good things put down, to start work after that. I will possibly use them in the future.

They visited for installation details and came back to install a number of the same doors in our community.
