Higgins Painting

Donnie and his team did an excellent job. They were prompt, professional, and the work was a high quality. We added several tasks during the project and they still completed it on time and Donnie was very fair with the price. They even came back to do touch ups after we moved in. I highly recommend Higgins Painting and would not even consider using any other company for future jobs.

Great response time for estimate, prompt start and completion of job, cleaned up well, but most importantly, a BEAUTIFUL job on both the plastering and the painting. Price was right on, and completely reasonable for the job we needed. We would hire these guys again in a nanosecond!!!

Very satisfied with the work and professionlism

Some hiccups with original quote as Cory was due to go on vacation but eventually purchased the $780 2 exterior painters for a day through Angie's List.
I wanted to confirm that the work could be done through the deal so arranged for an appointment with them.  Don, the owner, came out and said things could be done for the deal and offered to purchase paint and caulking for the job; contractor's receive discounts from supply places and I am certain that the price given from Higgins was lower than what I would have paid for the same supplies.
JT and Jake came by on a Saturday to complete the job. JT said they waited an hour or so before coming out so that the temperature would be suitable for exterior painting when asked about it.  They worked the entire time and painted basically anything on the outside that could be painted. 
JT also explained they would use a ladder to paint the awning as this would not take the chance of breaking any slates on our enclosed porch roof  and that they would probably spray paint it and caulk it as necessary.
Some issues with paint spots on my wall and a crimped section of porch soffit.  JT came out  and worked on the paint spots getting them significantly less visible but there really was no resolution for the crimped area.  That area was dented before from previous work by a roofer and perhaps the pressure in using the ladder (the ladder was not on the soffit but rather resting against the edge of the porch roof) caused the crimping.
Don called to ensure all things had been resolved to my satisfaction which they were.
I would highly recommend Higgins Painting as the workers and owner stand behind their work and are willing to not only resolve issues that may come up but call and ensure their customers are satisfied with their work.  You could not ask for a nicer and more conscientious worker than JT.

I first contacted Higgins Professional Wall Covering and Painting, Inc. back in late April based on the excellent reviews they had received.  We anticipated purchasing a townhouse in mid-June that was going to need complete interior painting, some fixing of wall cracks, and deck work.  Cory Higgins immediately responded to my inquiry.  Over the course of the next month, he kept in contact with me about this future work.  I provided him with as much information as I could about the room dimensions and the nature of the work we anticipated would be needed based on having been inside the property only once and using the measurements from the sale listing of the house.  Sight unseen, Cory committed to do our work and sent me a detailed estimate only a few days after our first contact.  I was beyond relieved to have such a highly-recommended painting company agreeing to do extensive work on a property they wouldn't gain access to for over a month.  When our closing date was moved up from mid-June to the end of May, Cory was able to arrange a walk-through of the townhouse at an earlier date to accommodate our new timeline.  The very next week they started!  They spent a total of 7 days meticulously working on prep, painting, and deck work.  Chuck was there every single day.  Cory spent a good deal of time working there as well, and another helper rounded out the crew.  We left the house in their hands, even giving them a spare key to let themselves in & out whenever they wanted.  My husband would stop by on his lunch hour to see if anything was needed.  These men were polite, professional, and very respectful of the house.  Their ability to accommodate our needs and their quickness to respond is amazing -- they set the bar so high that no other company could come close.  They cleaned up so well you would never have known a crew of painters had spent 7 days in the house.  We are thrilled with the quality of work.  Their work transformed our townhouse into the place we imagined it could be when we first saw it -- the deck alone looks like its brand new.  Higgins made our vision into a reality.  You will find no better wall covering, painting, deck-work company.  Higgins did incredible work for us, and they should be the first and only company you call.

I was very pleased with the entire experience. Cory was prompt and professional during the process of getting an estimate, and he worked with me to set up a job that was within my budget and still accomplished the painting goals.  His painter Dan was very pleasant and hard working, and was quick to point out different ways to approach some of the job in order to end up with a better final product.  I am very happy with the final result based on the cost, and I would definitely recommend Higgins Professional to others.

Used Angie's Deal of the day, (320.00). They were on time, detailed and took pride in their work. They pointed out imperfections in the ceiling and walls and in plaster repairs that would show after painting. These were taken care of before the room was painted. While the plaster was touched up, and Josh their painter was there, I went ahead and had him paint the dining room since I already had the paint.

Cory, the the son of the owner and estimator, agreed to do the dining room at the big deal price. We agreed to then do the master bedroom priming and painting for $420.00 which involved three colors and two days. Cory gave me a break as it saved him and his painter from a wasted first day due to the plaster needed some touch up in the bedroom. Although I was going to paint the dining room later, given the price for both rooms, I decided to get it done then.

Higgins Painting was a easy to work with. They were pleasant, considerate, open to being flexible regarding what I wanted and how I wanted things.They returned calls, texts,and emails promptly. They did not try to sell me anything that was not needed or wanted. Josh was polite, friendly, neat, clean, on time, and did a fine job in both rooms. I recommend Higgins Painting and will use them again.
