Gerry and his crew did an excellent job pouring two pads for us. We needed a pad for a shed and sliding glass door area, and a second pad for the entrance to our man-door and garbage can area. Gerry's pricing is very competitive. He and his crew showed up when they said the would. They got the job done in the time he said they would. They cleaned up the area after the work. He also took the time to explain the care and maintenance of the concrete. I highly recommend Herrmann Construction and I will keep them in-mind for any future work.

* I hired Hermann construction after years of restacking an old stone retaining wall every other summer. I got multiple quotes in versalok and natural stone before meeting Gerry. Gerry explained to me that he does all kinds of wall construction but he specializes in huge blocks called "redi-rock". He took a detailed look at my situation and He explained to me that my house/foundation was very close to the wall and street, and versalok might be a bad choice (which no other contractor told me!) and natural stone wouldn't hold up the hillside as well. In the end we decided on the redi-rock (cobblestone) pattern. During this time i also explained to him that my basement was taking water for the past few years and that I'd also like to possibly pour new cement where my cement pad/slabs around the house were busted and pointing the wrong way. He told me that when doing the wall he would recommend repouring cement all around the house foundation and doing new drains to prevent this. I also had a very old wall that was leaning on my house in the back and he gave me a really good quote on doing that in versalok since the crew was already going to be there. SO in the end we agreed 1 long driveway wall in redi-rock and 1 back patio versalok wall with new cement all around, new downspouts/drains and removing old terracotta drains/trenching some drains out. Gerry spent a few days doing demo and leveling everything and then the crew came to start on the walls. They came and worked all week during the August heat wave with temps being 99 degrees each day. Not once did these guys call off or no show me. They worked like machines and were extremely courteous. Before they showed up I trenched my house, tarred my wall and repointed some bricks. I also did my own french drain. Gerry took my french drain and his new downspouts he installed for me and tied them all together to some big drains at the street. No other wall builder or cement guy would do extras like these guys did for me! These guys are easily the best contractors I have ever met hands down. I would recommend them to anyone looking for walls/patios or new cement pours. I'm extremely happy with the work they did and They shot my house curb appeal way up if i ever sell.

He was onsite providing a detailed evaluation and quote for replacement of our street level city sidewalk within hours, and work was executed only one week later, at a fair price.
