Herman Heyl went above and beyond when he made right a very unhappy situation.  My niece had sent 5 orchids out to a bunch of us aunts who had given her a bridal shower.  She used 1-800-FLOWERS and the order went to Herman Heyl.  The flowers were delivered.  BEAUTIFUL!  Soon 2 of the 5 orchids were beginning to wilt and die while the others remained healthy and beautiful.  Quite likely, the 2 that were withering had been overwatered at the grower or had been left too long after delivery on cold wintery porches.
When I called, Herman himself talked to me and he remembered filling and wrapping the orders personally.  While he was perplexed that any of his flowers might be unsatisfactory, he did check with his growers.  It took several days, but Herman did replace the 2 sad orchids with BEAUTIFUL, healthy plants.  They have amazing numbers of buds and lovely strong leaves.  This plant should live forever!
