Everything went smoothly. I didn't have my prescription with me and they called my optometrist and had it faxed. The selection of frames was overwhelming, but they helped me to narrow down the choices. I was trying to decide between two frames when the woman working with me brought out another frame, a different shape and style from any I have ever had, and I loved it. She had studied the shape of my face and the position of my eyes and was able to pick a frame that looked great! My frame was expensive, as I had anticipated, because I wanted something that was unusual and stylish . But they also carry inexpensive ones - a man came in as I was there and said he wanted a frame for less than $150. They showed him a large number of frames from which to choose. My glasses were done within a week, fit perfectly, and the progressive lenses work well for me, and I did not need an adjustment period. I highly recommend this company.

The scheduler was very polite, informative, and patient.  Dr. Krystal Baker is very down to earth and a pleasure to work with.

Dr. Baker is a great optometrist. She's professional, explains things well, and is very thorough. During a routine exam, she noticed some issues and did sophisticated tests to determine if there was any eye disease. There wasn't, but she was very thorough and is keeping an eye on things. I highly recommend.

I had a Saturday appointment (which wsa very convenient). Had an eye exam and then selected frames for a pair of glasses. They were very willing to spend as long as necessary to help me select a pair of frames I liked.

The office staff are very friendly. There was some confusion (on my part) regarding my insurance and they were very helpful in working with me. Dr. Van Der Waag was excellent and very thorough. The frame selection is immense, which is the number one reason I chose Heidioptics. I was certainly not disappointed. They seemed to have frames for every budget which I appreciated and certainly did not push for the more expensive frames. The glasses came within one week and I was pleased.

They also sell eye glasses there. In summer 2010, they sent me a reminder for my eye checkup. I am overdue because I noticed that I am squinting on my left eye. They are excellent. They have an optometrist and ophthalmologist, because I have seen both. They are very speedy and are a full service. I actually noticed that as I had waited for appointments, they were very good. When I first went, I got my glasses and contact lenses at one time. I had problem with my contact lenses, they told me to come right over. I actually had a problem with putting them on and taking them out. They worked with me. They did not have any problem because I lived right across the street at that time. They told me to come right over. I could not help overhearing them working with people who may be, could not afford the actual price of the services, which I thought was very nice. Their eye-wear is on the expensive side. However, I definitively am getting value for what I am getting. What I really am impressed with, is that the practice is like a father-daughter practice. The daughter's job is to travel around the world and purchase unique eye-wear. She does not get anymore than two pair of the same glasses and they never are the same color. They are very unique and stylish glasses. I literally get compliments all the time on my eye-wear. They are fantastic. Their eyewash is just stylish. I just recommended them to someone yesterday.

I have been going to this clinic for 10 years. The optometrist I see here is very thorough, straight forward and knowledgeable. He has a very good bedside manner and provides very good quality of care. His treatment is very effective and I would recommend him to anyone.
