Piano Tuning
Mr. Longdon is up in years now, after spending his working life owning and operating a piano company for 50 years on Penn Avenue, near Wood Street, in Wilkinsburg. He operates out of his home now, tuning at a more moderate pace for his age, but continuing his expertise and sales skills in buying, selling and arrangements for moving pianos. His current price for single tuning of a regularly tuned piano is $85, so the price noted above covered the extra work, as described. He is thus highly experienced and expert in his work, knowledgeable about music and piano, and easy to converse with about the subject and his work. In fact, he seems to enjoy relating in this congenial manner, as he works at a more leisurely pace.
