Green Mountain Renovation

David Gravina of Green Mountain Rennovation and his colleague Jake have been a pleasure to deal with. They worked on a kitchen remodel, bathroom remodel fix (remodel was done wrongly by a prior contractor), and a barn door install. Intelligent, well-read and easy to communicate with, Dave was a refreshing change after the last 2 contractors I had worked with and I was comfortable letting him make decisions, not to mention, their quality of work is fantastic. Dave has an electrician and plumber that he works with. That may get overall costs to run higher, but, at the same time, you are sure of having things done correctly and to code. Again, I learned the importance of this the hard way when the contractor I had used before Dave claimed to know how to plumb correctly, and eventually ended up flooding my condo, causing damage to the condo below me. The Bathroom fix turned out to be a project from h***. The prior contractor had done many things wrong, and we only found these issues as we started breaking away the construction layers. The entire process was extremely frustrating, as the bathroom floor was ripped up a total of 3 times due to various issues we kept unearthing. Through this process, even though frustration was high on both sides at times, Dave was incredibly patient and worked through all the issues. A few months after the end of that, I used his services again to put up some dry wall and install an oversized barn-door. I continue to recommend Dave to anyone I know that is in need of a contractor. It's hard to find someone reliable, responsive, smart and professional that also does good work. Although they can be pricey, I cannot recommend Green Mountain Rennovations enough.
