Excellent. We hired George when we moved into the house in 2005, and did an excellent job. After thirteen years, we had some work done and the kids wanted to change the colors of their walls. We called George to see if he was still painting and he was! He handled the new job in a very professional and cost effective way. We highly recommend him and would hire him again for any painting job.

George is excellent! He came to the rescue again. My son had a leak in his bathroom and it damaged his ceiling and walls. With a baby coming in a few weeks, they neede to have the repairs made and then needed painting done. George called back right away and was there when he said he would be there to give them an estimate. He did the job in 2 days. He is an excellent painter and a vey nice person. He has painted for me in the past, and this is the second time he has helped my son and daughter in law in a pinch! Thank you so much George!!

We have an old house, and the area George and his brother painted hadn't been painted in many years, so there was a lot of prep work. They worked efficiently, quickly and neatly, always cleaning up after each day's work. We Love the results! He always showed up when he said; it took less time than he first estimated; his final price was exactly what he said it would be.

George is fantastic. He did all the work in one day, including two coats on the walls of the one bedroom. He also matched the wall color of the first bedroom to cover over the plaster repair of the ceiling (done by his brother Nick) that slightly carried over onto the wall adjacent to the ceiling. He did not charge extra for this even though this was not included in his estimate. When the paint he had the paint store mix for this touch-up was too dark to match, he expertly mixed it until the match was perfect, so the entire room did not need to be repainted. George uses top quality paint (included in his price) and provided paint strips of hundreds of colors to choose from. We are extremely happy of how the job turned out. He did a perfect job, he arrived precisely at the time he promised, and did a thorough clean-up. He is a very pleasant person to work with and was extremely eager to please us. We picked George from Angie's List because of his great reviews and our experience exactly confirmed them. He is very busy though (booked several months ahead), but he was able to fit us in in a short time because it was a small job. We are having him back next March to repaint a dining room and living room.

Simply amazing from start to finish. George is wonderful. Quality of painting is outstanding. Shows up on time, himself (no subs or other workers), works steadily all day with a brief lunch break. Nonsmoker. He took great care of our home (not a spot of paint, hardly a speck of dust.) Exemplary attention to detail. Our home looks astonishing - our neighbors and family are impressed and comment accordingly - should have hired George years ago!

George's service was outstanding in all respects. When he came to do the estimate, he noted several rough spots on the walls and offered to smooth everything out prior to painting. He also offered to get the paint, which was extremely convenient for us. I'm sure he got a better color match than if we had tried to get the paint ourselves.
During the job, he was punctual, professional, and efficient. The job took about a half day less than what he estimated, and he adjusted his price accordingly. The quality of his work was excellent.
Overall, it was a pleasure having George paint our kitchen and hall. We would definitely hire him again and would recommend him for all your painting needs.

George is so amazing I'm almost afraid to recommend him, in case I can't get him back when I need him. Our realtor had recommended him, and he was a find. He is incredible conscientious, prompt, courteous, and very reasonably priced. We gave him our keys, which I almost never do. He scraped and painted a huge basement with sandstone walls. He also worked with us on painting over these terrible plastic tiles with several coats.

I will definitely call George again the next time I need painting done. When he came to give an estimate, he offered helpful suggestions that I had not considered. While completing the work, he was prompt, prefessional, careful, thorough - everything one could want when getting rooms painted. All this at a resonable price. I'm completely satisfied with the painting he did --- and I'm fussy!

This was the very best experience I've had with any contractor. George deserves triple A ratings on everything. He was prompt in returning my initial phone call and was able to come out right away to give me a bid and schedule a start date. George was right on time every day. He does all the work himself. He cleaned up at the end of each day. He did an absolutely wonderful job - and always very polite and professional. The work was completed in a timely manner. I would highly recommend George Lardas. I would recommend George Lardas to all my friends and family. He was polite and finished the job quickly and it was well done.

Mr. Lardas was a true pleasure to work with. He scheduled to come out to provide an estimate the day after I called him. He was prompt and provided a very fair estimate for the amount of work. We scheduled to have him paint the house a few weeks later.

A few days before he was scheduled to do the work, Mr. Lardas called and asked if we had picked out our colors yet. We hadn't, so he asked if it would help us if he dropped off some color samples. I told him it would be helpful; he dropped off the samples a few minutes later. After we picked our colors, he said he would start the next day at 8:00.

Mr. Lardas was extremely punctual. He showed up each day at 7:59am exactly. He said the job would take between 4 and 5 days, and he was spot on.

On the first day of work, the color of the paint in the dining room wall didn't appear at all like it did on the sample. Instead of a light green, it was sort of Mr. Yuck florescent green. Although it wasn't Mr. Lardas's fault, he volunteered that if we weren't happy with the color, he would repait the wall for just hte cost of paint---$16! We took him up on the offer. Later in the job, he noticed that the color of the paint in the dining room wasn't true either. There was a very subtle purple hue to it. He went to his paint supplier and had them work on the problem. He fixed that problem for us for free.

Mr. Lardas was exceptionally friendly and professional throughout the entire process. He moved and covered protected the furniture. He obviously took extreme pride in his work. Generally, he was a great guy to have in our house for four days. And maybe best of all, his work came in over $100 under his bid!

I have already recommended Mr. Lardas to others, and will hire him in a second next time I've got a paint job I don't want to handle on my own.

GREAT EXPERIENCE-MR. LARDAS GAVE US AN ESTIMATE BEFORE JOB START. PRICE WAS EXACTLY AS ESTIMATED AND WAS VERY FAIR. HE WAS ON TIME AND DID THE JOB EFFICIENTLY AND CAREFULLY. TARPS WERE USED AND CLEANUP WAS PERFORMED. JOB WAS COMPLETED WITHIN TIME TABLE GIVEN. VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE!!! WOULD DEFINEATLY USE AGAIN.

I thought that I could paint the porch myself but found it was too big a project for me. I called George on Wednesday and he was able to fit my job into his schedule on Saturday. George is always extremely accommodating, friendly and professional. He is thorough, very fast and leaves the space perfectly clean. I call him for all of my interior painting because I know that he will fit me into his schedule as soon as he can and will get the job done with minimal inconvenience to the homeowner.
