Genesis Roofing & Siding

Genesis Roofing came and did repairs guaranteeing their work for 2 years. That winter I had a leak in my main roof (not connected to previous work). Winter was upon us, my husband was in the hospital so my brother did a repair to stop the leak. So I decided to call Genesis Roofing back in the spring to check the whole roof. (This was a big mistake.) Note: so far their repairs seemed okay. IN the spring of 2010 GEnesis Roofing installed a new shingle roof and installed a new torch down roof system to the rear flat roof. Upon my husband insisting they signed a paper which read guarantee is to be 25 years on both roofs for the workmanship and matierals. Note: If roof fails at any time customer is refunded all costs, signed Sonny Johnson That cost was 7,435.00 That fall the flat roof was leaking and I was unable to get Sonny Johnson or Genesis Roofing to respond. By Thanksgiving the roof was leaking badly so I had to do something. Back up in the story, when roof was being replaced I noticed a truck with Heritge Roofing doing the shingle roof (I did question and was told they were the same company). When work was done Mr. Finley (Heritage Roofing) gave me his card and told me to call if I had any problems. After many calls to GEnesis Roofing and unalbe to get even any answering machine I called Mr. Finley from Heritage Roofing. (Note: by this time my flat roof had a new leak every time it rained.) Mr. Finley was very sypathetic and told me he really was not associated with Genesis Roofing. Said he did the job at my home as a favor when he installed the shingle roof but he would come and see what he could do for me. When he came out he was very convincing that his company was an independent one. He showed me several sites on my computer. Reviews on Genesis and Roof Doctors, said they were linked and opperated under approximately 7 different names. He was very convinceing and I thrust him and hired him to do repairs. ($1,375.00) in December 2010. The last week of March 2011 my roof once again began to leak. He answered right away and told me he would be out that day. He didn't come and didn't call. After several more calls and several days had passed he once agains said he would be out that day. Again, not call and no show. Tryed calling Mr. Finley many times. No repsonses. Today's date is April 20th and he still has not been out.

Did not do what he was hired to do.
