Bob looked over the job, sent estimates for three options in a couple days. I sent back our choice with a deposit. Two weeks later the guys came out and installed patio cover/awning in about 3 1/2 hours. Looks great!

Bob from G&S reviewed what we were  looking for as far as setup and design of awning and even came out to our house in advance to double check everything. We were told it would take 3-4 weeks to be built and a 1/2 day to install.. It took about 3 weeks and was installed in about 4 1/2 hours.. Bob's crew did excellent work and made sure they cleaned up when they left and that we were were satisfied .  We never felt hurried or rushed in any decision.  We will certainly recommend G&S to anyone.

It went well.

Everyone was pleasant and helpful.  It was measured and I received estimate in mail.  I signed it and sent it back with required deposit.  A few weeks later the awning was placed and looks nice.  It rained and our dogs laid on the deck and my husband read the newspaper.   It has added an outdoor room to our home. the fellows were pleasant and quick.

They did a nice job back then.  I called them a couple years ago because some color had been coming off.  I called to see if we could replace them.  No one ever got back with me.  We still love it though, but we would like to get it repaired.

I have a couple more awnings I will need to replace once I get some other work done and plan to use G&S again.

I called them Aug. 27, the estimator came the next day to measure for the awning. Their proposal came in the mail 2 days later.
I signed it and mailed it back, and am waiting for them to make and install the awning. They seemed like nice people, I'm
pleased with this transaction so far.

I needed to have the over-sized awning over my back porch replaced after the recent hail storm damage in my area.  Bob Shuster came out and gave me an estimate, which I submitted to my insurance company.  They approved the estimate, I picked my colors and about 6 wks later I had a beautiful new awning - can't wait for Spring!
They arrived right on time and were very polite and professional.  They had the old awning down and the new one up in no time - I never even saw them take a lunch break.  They cleaned everything up when they were finished and I didn't see one piece of debris when they left.  They also moved a large item for me that they really didn't have to move.  They were both very nice gentlemen.
I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them to anyone needing their services.

The entire experience with G&S was professional.  The date was set for the estimate and Bob was very honest about how it would it be built, installed and any issues that might come up. He did not try to sell me any "add-ons" or anything other than what I discussed with him on the phone.  They do not outsource, the work is done completely by G&S.  All the appointments and follow up conversations were timely and professional.  The installers arrived on time, were friendly and unbelievably efficient.  They cleaned up completely, and were gone within hours.  I would rate this experience at Super "A"

Due to a bad storm that occurred in September 2010, a neighbor's tree branch fell and damaged a metal awning attached to the rear of the house. After dealing with the insurance company and getting estimates, we decided on G&S Metal, and signed the proposal on October 1, 2010.  The proposal did state a 14-16 week wait for installation.  G&S Metal did call in March 2011 for installation, but due to conflict of schedule, they did not install until April 8, 2011.  Received a call at 8:00 that morning and a two man crew arrived about 8:45 am and were done approximately 11:00 am. They did a great job, installing the new awning, removing the old damaged awning and cleaning up the area, before it started to rain.

Real professionals, knew their stuff, cleaned up everything, arrived promptly, absolutely no complaints here.

THE WORKMEN WERE ON TIME AND VERY COURTEOUS. THEY COMPLETED THE JOB IN A FEW HOURS AND LEFT EVERYTHING IN GOOD SHAPE.
