Friendly Movers

The team did great. The guys showed up early. They were positive and polite. The job was done quickly and efficiently. All of my furniture was handled with care. We had them move large furniture items that were too heavy for my wife and I to handle on our own. We tried to have them move a piece of furniture to a location that proved to be difficult. They knew ahead of time that it was not going to work, but they never complained once about trying anyway. This is a company that clearly takes pride in their work and does an excellent job to provide quality service at a reasonable price. I will hire them again when the time comes. They deserve everyone's consideration when it comes to choosing a mover in the Pittsburgh area.

3 guys who were affable and hard-working. Had a long driveway for garage and basement items that required time and effort. Absolutely no complaints. The guys were easy going and great sense of humor.

The 3 movers were very friendly and professional. They showed up promptly and worked hard until the job was done. The B rating on quality is because some walls and furniture got dinged and scratched...nothing destroyed just in need of touch-ups.

I can't say enough about how smooth our move was because of this company. We actually moved out of our home one month prior and paid $1650 for the move - 5 guys, 2 trucks. We thought we would try something different this time and we are so glad we did. Friendly movers provided four movers. They showed up on time and immediately got to work. They managed to get our entire 10x22 unit into one truck in one hour and were done within 4 hours. The entire move cost $435 plus tip (the truck was only $70). I didn't see a single mover on his phone even one time. They took two 5 minute breaks and asked beforehand every time if they could take a break. They put beds together and even worked with me to get a room moved around before leaving. Not a single item was damaged. When I called to get an estimate, they didn't insist on going to the storage unit before giving an estimate. They called me back within 5 minutes of my phone call to them, every time I called. Amazing! I can't imagine why anyone would hire anyone else.

Outstanding company. All the men introduced themselves to my wife and children, were very courteous and careful with all of our belongings. Moved everything within the timeframe and money quoted. Very fair pricing, outbidding several other local and national companies. As you are responsible for the truck rental (uHaul in town rentals are super cheap), I believe they save you a ton with their business model.

The two men from Friendly Movers were knowledgeable about moving large items and making sure the pieces were level and centered!

It went perfect and it was a tight fit with only 1/4" to spare. I guess they do it everyday because they made it look easy.

I'm very happy with the movers Friendly Movers sent to load the UHaul. The movers were on time, professional, and quickly and carefully loaded my rented UHaul. The movers knew exactly what they were doing when they loaded the UHaul and utilized every available space within the truck so that no boxes shifted or moved during the drive from Pittsburgh to Arlington, VA. This mover provided great service and I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs help in moving, or loading or unloading a UHaul.

Movers were extremely nice and super helpful. They fit everything in the Uhaul which seemed like an impossible task, but they got the job done! Very impressed.

Wonderful!  The first time the job I expected to take a long time was done in less than 15 minutes, so they were able to do lower prioritiy items on my list.
The next two times I also hired their truck to move furniture to and from storage units.  They were fast, efficient, hard workers, and punctual.

Well worth the price, would hire again! The lady on the phone who set up the service was great - asked questions about what I was looking to move and then we agreed on 3 movers for 3 hours. Then she called back after noticing I didn't have much furniture - mostly boxes, asking if I wanted 2 or 3 people because she figured 2 guys could handle the job. I kept with the 3 but appreciated her thoughtfulness. 
The day of the move, I got a call saying the guys were finished with their morning job ahead of schedule, and so they came out about noon instead of the 1-2pm timeframe we talked about. The 3 guys were friendly and professional. They walked through the house asking what we needed to be moved, and got started right away. It ended up taking them less than 2 hours, and I gladly paid the $220 minimum for their 2 hours. They worked really hard and I'm glad I had 3 guys because the treadmill was quite heavy! 
They did such a quality packing job. The move took us 5 days of driving and there were some pretty rough roads. I could tell the truck was packed well as there was no swaying or motion of the truck when going over difficult roads. When we got to CA, we found everything to be in perfect condition. We had mostly boxes, not a lot of furniture, and they situated the boxes perfect - heavy ones on bottom, lighter ones on top. Nothing was damaged at all. Even the treadmill came through in perfect condition. 
They did a great job loading the truck - they know how to pack! I would recommend them to anyone looking for movers; cross-town or cross-country Friendly Movers can't be beat!

Friendly Movers were very responsive, responsible and helpful from beginning to end.  They went above and beyond and would be my first choice of movers in the future.  They were great about scheduling the move,  and communicated with us about confirming the time, date and location and were even patient when we were late with the moving truck.  Our crew provided plenty of muscle to move all of our boxes, furniture and a heavy and fragile card catalog.  However what made them truly valuable was the expertise and knowledge of how to best move, pack and fit EVERYTHING into that small truck and they did so with great care and attention to details.

Our experience using Friendly Movers was A-1. We rented a 16 foot truck and it turned out we needed every inch of space. The 2 man team did a brilliant job loading and securing our daughters furniture for a move to Buffalo. They were efficient and came in at the estimated minimum amount. Upon arrival, the movers we hired to unload commented that whoever loaded the truck was brilliant!
