Floor Designs Unlimited LLC

I paid half the cost for a deposit with Floor Designs Unlimited Flooring America and then paid the rest when they came to do the work. They still have to come back, because we had a problem. I did not like the bull nose. It didn't look like it was supposed to, the coloring was off. I had to go back into the showroom and I had to order some rondack. I am waiting for them to call me and come back out and finish it. I am happy with it so far. They did a real good job and were conscientious and everything. It was not there fault it was the manufacturer sent the bull nose and the color didn't match the tile when they got it. It was a reddish color and all the other tile I had was like a beige. I am happy with them. They have done everything they could possibly do. We are just waiting for the rondack to come in. I would absolutely use them again. They apologized, but it really wasn't there fault. They are doing everything they can and we are just waiting for the product to come in. I don't give As easily, because there is always room to improve. 

My in-laws referred them to us. We would use them again.

Their pricing was very reasonable since we had looked at a number of places. They had their own crew come out. They were very efficient and very courteous. They did a good job of cleaning up. I am waiting to hear from them now because we had some trouble with one of the tiles. There was one place on the floor which was a little uneven. Once they finished the job and they looked at it, there was a tile that wasn’t sitting right. So, they broke that tile out and replaced it right then and there. Then they re-grouted it. We are now getting a little creaking noise from that tile when we step on it. Something is not quite level. So, I just called them about a couple of days ago even though the job was done in 2008. They have a lifetime labor installation guarantee. So, they are going to come out to take care of that. They are supposed to call me sometime to schedule a date to come out and check it out. I would definitely use their services in the future too.

I was looking for flooring in a gameroom. Not sure exactly what I wanted, although I definately did not want carpet. I wanted something that would improve the look of my home and be easy to clean. Floor Designs had a "sale" on enginnered hardwood. Since hardwood is very popular and most people want it in their homes, I decided to go with it. The sales lady was very nice. The installers lifted up old carpet and flooring, which I was glad because some installers will lay it right on top. The two installers that came the first day to remove the old carpet and flooring did start the job but another installer finished it but that wasn't a big deal. After the job was finished the installer forgot to put the baseboards back on, I did call my sales rep and the installer came back to fix a few things. The major complaint that I have was that I did not have quarterrounds with the old carpet so when the new flooring was placed, the room didn't look finished because I now needed quarterrounds. I felt it would have been nice if the guy that came out to measure would have mentioned this to me. Floor Designs does not lay quarter rounds so I had to contract a painter to come finish the job.

On May 11, the workers arrived propmly. They finished on May 13 . Bill Patterson ( who I can't say enough good things about)and his helper Neil did a super job, ; were very efficient and friendly, cleaned up everthing . My husband and I are very pleased!

Overall I've been very happy and would use Flooring Designs Unlimited again.

The representative that came out to set up the project was very kind and professional and put me at ease. They were very accommodating with letting us make our decision. They were willing to wait for us to be ready for the project and there was never any pressure. I thought that the quality was good and the workers were neat and clean. Our kids were interested in the project and they were great with them. We wanted to save a section of carpeting for another room and they measured and cut it for us and had no issues with doing so. This company has courteous and professional workers that offer quality work.

THEY WERE A LOT CHEAPER THAN OTHER LOCATIONS.

WORKERS WERE ON TIME. THEY WERE COURTEOUS AND CLEANED UP WELL. WE WERE SATISFIED WITH THE PRICE, QUALITY AND SERVICE THEY PROVIDED.
