The guy that walked in didn't seem to be professional at all. He didn't go around the house to check other parts. He just seemed to be lazy and not want to even do his job. He didn't inquire about the sounds or place on where the rodents were exactly. I had to call him back and tell him I still saw droppings. The 4 baits he set out were something I could have just done myself. I still saw droppings from rodents. So they had to come back again and set 10 traps. Still more droppings.  After this company didn't get the job done I asked for $100 out of my $180 back. They wouldn't allow it. I ended up going with a different company that did a wonderful job. Ehrlich Pest Control.

My complaint was not with the initial contact. Dennis came out and distributed bait in different areas of my house after I found two mice in my basement. He thought this was probably just the time of year, but I didn't want to chance it. He was professional and checked the outside for areas that he thought could be sealed to help prevent them from getting into the house. Expert gives you a guarantee of 90 days if you have them follow-up and check areas and plug any outside potential problems (at an additional cost). I decided to do this and was reminded by Expert via a phone call that I should have this done soon to stay within my warranty. We set up a day (12/21/2010) for Dennis to come back and plug the outside areas. I told Tiffany at the time of the call, that I would not be home and for Dennis to leave a bill in my door or, if they billed from the office, I would pay it when I received it. When I got home I found an invoice for $39.75 saying "I missed my appointment" - I called them promptly to reiterate that I had not 'missed' any appointment as I told Tiffany I would not be home and a bill could be left in my door for payment. She said they would 'remove' that charge when I rescheduled. I said that one had nothing to do with the other. I knew I was not going to be home. Tiffany, when setting up the time, knew I wasn't going to be home, so I did not 'miss' any appointment. This problem could have been resolved immediately with them recognizing their mistake. Instead they kept insisting I would get this charge removed WHEN I set up my follow-up. By now I had decided NOT to use them. I did not like their tactics. Many calls were placed to get the $39.75 erroneous charge removed from my account. FINALLY, today it was. I did not like the threat of only getting this charge removed 'when' I had them come out for the follow-up. I will not use them again and do not recommend them. I'm glad this issue was resolved today, It should not have taken this long or so many phone calls on my part.

We've had a great experience with Expert Pests. The woman that took the initial phone call was great- professional and helpful. And the exterminator that was assigned to us was knowledgeable and efficient. We liked their service so much that we decided to use them for seasonal insect maintenance as well.

While my BF was working in my yard, he left the garage door and the door to the basement open. A chipmunk entered the basement. The chipmunk managed to avoid my cat, but couldn't avoid the poisonous bait left by the pest control guy. I found the chipmunk dead about a week later.

Arrived on time, young guy climbed second story and sprayed house top to bottom. Have to wait 10 days to see if it worked (it's 10 days later) and it seemed to have worked. The service is backed for 1 year so I like that part.

They were professional. I wish they would have put the trap on the roof but they put it down below. They did catch the raccoons though.

The service man was 1/2 late. When I called the office, they explained that he got delayed by road construction and that he would be here in 1/2 hour. He did arrive within that time frame. Ken Stintzi located the yellow jacket nest under some very thick hedges. Within 1/2 hour, Ken was done. We haven't seen any yellow jackets in that location since. I was very pleased with the results. This company will also service your home when you are not present as long as you mark the area that needs inspection and treatment. We rated Price as B only because we have no other prices on which to compare.

THE SERVICE VISIT WAS SCHEDULED FOR THE SAME DAY THAT I CALLED. DAVE SMYTHE WAS ON TIME, FRIENDLY AND BUSINESS-LIKE. HE EXPLAINED MOUSE BEHAVIOR AND THE EXTERMINATION PROCESS WELL. THE OFFICE RECEPTIONIST, HOWEVER, HAD MISLED ME ON BOTH THE COST OF THE SERVICE AND THE WAY THE PROCESS WORKED. MY HOUSE IS A 3-FAMILY AND SHE GAVE ME THE PRICE FOR A SINGLE AND HAD SAID THAT THE POISON CAUSED THE MICE TO LEAVE THE HOUSE IN SEARCH OF WATER.

THEY CAME ON TIME (CALLED EVEN BEFORE THEY CAME TO VERIFY THAT IT WAS OK). VERY NICE GUYS. THEY ALSO EDUCATED ME ABOUT CARPENTER ANTS (WHAT TO LOOK FOR AND HOW TO TELL THE DIFFERENCE FROM A HOUSE SWEAT ANT AND A CARPENTER ANT).
