Ed thoroughly performed all of the services we hired him for. I would definitely recommend him to others looking to buy a home. He welcomed any questions, which was helpful being first time buyers. The tests he ran ultimately resulted in a large seller credit.

Excellent and thorough job. Ed's scheduler, Valerie, replied to my email inquiry within 24 hours and scheduled the appointment for a day that was good for me. She also was super responsive to any questions I had prior to the appointment. Great first impression. Ed arrived promptly and spent nearly 5 hours. He educated me on my home's issues all along the way and offered great advice for my future plans to sell. At the end of the inspection, I received a 67 page report plus the wood-destroying insect report, tons of photos & videos, and a drone video of the entire exterior & interior of my property...all on the spot before Ed drove away. He is extremely down to earth and real. I never felt like he was trying to talk me into or out of anything for his own gain. His website and price list are comprehensive and descriptive so I knew exactly what I was ordering and he delivered.

Ed is incredibly thorough and provides a detailed report upon completion of the inspection, which included pictures and descriptions. The home inspection/buying process is pretty stressful and I appreciate that he took the time to explain things while he was there, but also understood that there's no way I could retain all that information at once. A friend recommended him to me, and I would do the same for anyone purchasing a home.

Ed did a fantastic job. I'm a first time home buyer and I didn't really know what to look for. Ed was very thorough with the entire inspection and helped explain this to me in a way I could easily understand and the drone video was amazing. If I ever buy another home I will be using him no questions asked.

Thank goodness for Ed — as a first-time buyer who’s looking to make a cash payment, I badly needed someone knowledgeable in my corner. Ed came through in spades — the realtors don’t like him because nothing gets by him, and he’s totally on your side (whereas the realtors seem mostly interested in closing a sale). I've heard that many inspectors don't want you there while they work; Ed actively encouraged me to be present during the entire inspection and took the time to educate me during and after (I found his environmental expertise especially helpful in this regard). Highly recommended -- worth every penny, many times over.

Ed was such a help with our home inspection and was very thorough with the whole process. He allowed us to ask questions and explained things in a way that made sense. He is very knowledgeable in what he does and puts the well being of the client first. Very fast response time from his office and quite a fair price. He was thorough, observant, reasonable, and communicative. His evaluations made clear which repairs were the highest priority and offered constructive suggestions for ways to maintain the home which would prevent safety problems or water or insect damage in the long-term. Ed was having a rough day, but despite running late he still took his time and was extremely thorough in his inspection, not rushing anything. He went up into the attic three times though it was extremely hot. He was very knowledgeable about everything and made a point to explain many things, welcoming all questions. The completed report was given to us on a thumb drive immediately upon the end of the 4-5 hr long inspection. We had extensive mold testing done and he was very professional about it. The results from the mold tests came back a couple days later, and were immediately emailed to us with no delay. He followed up with both email and phone call, and offered any help or advice for the future. Would certainly recommend and hire again.

Ed did a very thorough job and took his time to not miss any issues. We are very comfortable purchasing the home after his inspection. The report he provided is very detailed and easy to follow. The drone footage of inside and outside of the home adds a unique perspective and is very helpful in planning for the move. Overall extremely satisfied. Would use again and highly recommend. Even the seller asked for his card because he was so impressed with Ed's work. Home inspection was $520, Pool inspection additional $100 and we opted to pay $10 to have the reports provided on a USB by Ed.

Very well. Everything was set up by email (which I prefer). The vendor outlined the steps in the process, setting accurate expectations and ensuring that everything went according to schedule. Price was as agreed up front. Final reports (Inspection, Wood Destroying Insects, Radon) were all detailed and delivered in a timely fashion. Ed also provided all of the photos taken during the inspection which were helpful in listing and marketing the house.

I was quite happy and pleased with their service. I thought they price was reasonable and competitive.

We were very pleased with the professional manner in which Ed performed the inspection. He took time to answer the many questions that we had and encouraged us to learn how to properly maintain our new property. He seemed to inspect every nook and cranny and pointed out many things that we would certainly not have noticed or considered ourselves. He never made us feel hurried and he spent time explaining technical issues. He emphasized that he was working for us - not the agent or homeowner and we felt that we received an honest assessment of the issues that needed correcting in the home. His 50+ page report was extremely thorough and included many pictures and descriptions that specifically targeted needed attention. The report was particularly valuable when we sat with our realtor to determine what we were willing to do and what we were going to ask the sellers to do during the negotiations for the property. It allowed us to go through a "checklist" in an organized and thorough manner which made the whole process MUCH easier. He separated the issues into safety issues, issues that required remediation and issues that were not pressing but could/should be attended to at a later date. He used his drone to assess the roof which was pretty impressive. Ed also recommended mold and radon testing (which we were not going to have done) and we were so glad that we did both of them as they both came back elevated and in need of remediation. The report also included preventative maintenance tips and advice which will be very helpful in the future. Ed also followed up the inspection with several phone calls and seemed to take a professional interest in helping us to properly evaluate the residence. Overall it was a very good experience and we would highly recommend Ed Lampl to anyone in the future.

Ed was at the property before I arrived and was very professional. He made sure to explain everything in great detail and we were able to catch some large issues with the property that needed to be tended to prior to purchase (as well as a few small things as well). Without his inspection, my purchase could have potentially cost me an extra $10,000 or more. His work was very thorough and helpful to say the least. Without hesitation, I would use him again, and will if there is any work needed that he is suited to do. Thank you for your great service Ed!

The experience was amazing, it is our second time hiring Ed and he was just as amazing the second time as he was the first. He's thorough, punctual, personable, friendly, informative, overall a great inspector and person. I would recommend him to anyone and would absolutely hire him again if needed.

Ed was very thorough with the home inspection. He is very knowledgeable and provides honest detailed information on his findings. Years ago we had a home inspection that lasted less than 2 hours and in the long run spent more money on fixing things up since it wasn't found during the inspection. Ed spent over 4 hours and i received the report before i left with detailed findings plus drone pictures and videos. I highly recommend Ed if you are looking for a well knowledgeable inspector that spends quality time doing the inspection. Plan to use him in the future!

Seller beware!!! We had a house for sale and Ed Lampl performed the inspection on our house for the buyer. He was extremely unprofessional and very unethical! We came back to the house after the inspection and lights were left on, dirt and leaves were tracked through the house, and a door was left hanging open. This was not the worst. He then claimed that there was mold in our attic and basement. He then has a very unethical relationship with Weiland Fire and Restoration in which this company comes in and gives an extremely inflated estimate for the defects that he points out in the home inspection. We had 2 other independent mold experts come and review Ed's claims that there was mold in the attic and basement These other 2 mold experts found Ed’s claims to be inaccurate. Also I had other contractors come for other repair estimates and found Weiland’s estimates to be inflated about 4 times the acceptable rate. In summary, Ed Lampl is making inaccurate claims on his inspections and then has this company called Weiland that comes and gives very inflated estimates. If I had not questioned his inspection or his Co-Contractor (Weiland) I would have been needlessly out several thousand dollars.

This is the third time my husband and I have used Ed. The inspection went very well, we couldn't have asked for a more thorough inspection from a more qualified and knowledgeable professional. Ed does not disappoint!

Ed did an amazing job, he was thorough and accurate, he prevented me from making a huge mistake with the information he provided in his report. The drone videos were AWESOME the content was perfect, he also added maintainence tips and provided me with basic first time home owning information. I'm much more equipped now to evaluare properties because of his service.

Without Ed's help, there were a number of items that would have gone unnoticed by ourselves and probably uncorrected by our project managers. He gave us a thorough overview of common problems to monitor and watch out for as construction progresses. He also supplied us with a bird's eye view of the house and surrounding neighborhood using his drone. We will most likely be hiring Ed again for the final inspection.

We hired Ed for a pre-dry wall on our new construction home. He was a pleasure to work with and was very attentive and knew what to look for. He also made a lot of good suggestions for the future of the house and the care of everything inside. His drone was cool and a plus too!

He was very knowledgeable and efficient, taking photos and air samples for mold spores as he went from room to room and recorded his observations right on the photos. He recommended a restoration specialist to do the repair work at my request. Throughout, he often made other suggestions for things in my home that he noted, and that might ordinarily be part of a routine home inspection, but weren't really part of his role. In any case, it was much appreciated. I wish I had known about Mr. Lampl when I needed a home inspection at the time of purchasing our home.
