Very communicative, responsible, prompt, and finished job when expected. Went back without a hassle to correct the color that the gutters were painted.

Great job. Lacking coverage in a couple of spots, but overall very good. In addition the living room needed a layer of paper removed from the ceiling - They performed this at no extra charge, and in doing this made the finish on the ceiling very good. I would definately work with this company again.

Jonathan and his team did a great job. They arrived when they said they would arrive. They neatly repaired walls and beautifully painted the 2 rooms. The prep work and clean up was thorough and neat.I wiill always call East End Painting first when I need painting to be done.

The estimate was high and we went with another company. He was prompt and came over on time though.

Jon and his team did a thorough and time-consuming job preparing for the painting of our house - thoroughly scraping and sanding all wooden surfaces, removing and replacing old and deteriorated caulking around windows and doors, caulking and glazing where necessary windows, as well as old fashioned wooden storms. Jon and his crew were reliable, thorough, pleasant and professional - arriving early each morning and thoroughly cleaning up before leaving each day, with ladders secured and stacked neatly. In our final payment, after the job was completed, we mistakenly overpaid Jon by more than $900.00 (we had misread the contract). Jon very honestly immediately pointed this out, and we adjusted our payment accordingly.

Responded within hours of my request for an estimate. Visited within a day to view project and gave estimate a few hours later via email. Terms were acceptable: 1/3 before start 1/3 at 50% completion, balance due upon completion. Gave 1/3 payment upon acceptance of bid and did NOT cash check until work was COMPLETED!! Told me that it would take 2 weeks before he could start - called me 13 days after accepting the bid and said he would be starting the next day - it rained for the next few days (figures) so he couldnt begin, but he appeared as soon as the weather cleared up. Completed the work in 3 days - nice neat work. Stopped back a week later to see if everything was okay - HE noticed some areas to touch up and did. Left extra paint for future touch up if I ever needed it.

Got back to me right away with an estimate. Work finished very quickly. Very pleased and will definitely use them again.

No work done because after initially responding to my email requesting a quote, they never followed up with a visit, phone call, email, or quote. Obviously they do not need my business.

Despite our calling late in the season, they started the job and worked well into the cold days of late fall. They completed more than we thought they would be able to before the weather became too cold to continue, and returned promptly in the spring to finish the job. They also provided the name of a terrific carpenter to perform some necessary repair work before completing the painting. The entire crew was friendly and professional, arriving early each morning and always leaving the job site neat and clean at the end of the day with all ladders stacked and locked down. Their price was lower than other quotes we received and they were able to schedule the job sooner than other companies. We were very pleased overall and will use East End Painting for future projects.

John got back to us right away with a faxed estimate that was right in the middle of the four estimates we received. He was readily available by phone (I think his business phone is his personal cell phone). He arrived on-time and as long as he was around work proceeded very quickly. He seemed to have pretty high standards and made sure every one of his guys (he came with three other painters) worked. He did, however, have to leave our house to do other things at some points. Unfortunately, the young guys he had working for him worked slower, put the radio volume much louder and used more swear words when he wasn't around. Nevertheless, the job was finished after 2 and a half days and we were very pleased with the results. I would recommend him to anyone, especially people with older homes in the city.

Jon & his crew are very professional. They had painted the exterior of my house, this past summer. At that time I arranged a November time to do some interior work. The price included all the paint & cleanup. They were very careful to cover the large stained glass window on the second landing, so as not to splatter any paint on it. This huge project was completed in two days. I am very pleased.

They were really through and they took off door knobs and things off my door. The work looks fabulous. I will be using them again.

Jon, the owner of East End Painting was efficient and thorough in compiling the bid. He submitted it promptly. He responded promptly and courteously to scheduling questions. The work has been done to my extreme satisfaction. The painters are polite and pleasant to deal with. They work steadily, consistently and they adjust to household needs going on around them. They are extremely neat, clean and they leave their work areas in order every evening. I am super pleased with the attitude, demeanor and performance of the owner and his crew.

Highly professional team, no shortcuts, excellent work, quick response to calls/concerns. Thorough daily cleanup. Extremely fair price, Team present everyday, even during inclement weather,if possible.

Tidy, professional, in and out in one day, personable and prompt. Can't tell the wall was repaired -- results smooth and straight. Had extra staff to do the demolition in the morning first thing, and then one guy finished up the detail work.

VERY THOROUGH AND EASY TO GET ALONG WITH. CAREFUL ABOUT THE MESS.
