"We enjoyed having [Member Name Removed] as a client and appreciate that he took the time out of his busy schedule to post his review."
"It was a pleasure to work with Mr. [Member Name Removed] and we appreciate the compliments. We look forward to an opportunity to work with him again."
"It's unfortunate this customer is not completely satisfied with the final outcome of her bathroom remodeling. She chose the same tile and grout for her bathroom project as she chose for her kitchen backsplash. That is exactly what we installed. In fact, we showed this customer the original receipts for the tile and grout from her kitchen, and the new receipts for the bathroom tile and grout, confirming they were the same products installed. From the posted photos it is obvious that the difference in appearance may be caused by the different light sources in the two rooms or the color of caulk the customer chose. The kitchen gets a lot of natural light from the nearby window. The bathroom is lit by incandescent lighting. Although we strive to satisfy each and every customer, circumstances such as this are outside of our control. Prior to the customer posting of her review, we did revisit the customer's home and changed the caulk. When we left the home, the customer was, in fact, quite happy. We did enjoy working with this customer and are sorry she felt it necessary to give us a less than excellent review."
"DreamMaker takes pride in our customer service and we consider it one key factor that sets us apart from our competitors. We appreciate that our customer actually took the time to post this favorable review. We look forward to an opportunity to work with them again in the future."
"We are happy that [Member Name Removed] and her husband are pleased with the outcome of their bathroom remodel. We look forward to working with them again!"
"These were outstanding clients. Our team members enjoyed working on their project and we are happy to add their name to our long list of satisfied customers."
"This customer was a pleasure to work with and ranks right up there among some of our favorite clients. They were pleasant and friendly and each of our workmen enjoyed working on their projects."
"If there was an Angie's List for customer ratings, we would give these customers an "A" also. A difficult and complicated job, but customers that were extremely pleasant to work with. We hope to have another opportunity in the future."
"We thoroughly enjoyed working with these customers and look forward to an opportunity to do so again in the future."
"We are disappointed and surprised to read this customer's review at this date since the work we did in their bathroom was four years ago in December 2013 -- not 2015 as noted. Upon completion of our work they were very satisfied and complimented our workmen. In 2015 and 2016 we were called back to address a few issues caused by the customer, which we promptly repaired. Once a job is complete, it is up to the customer to clean and maintain their refinished or remodeled bathroom. For this customer to say they would hire us again, but give such a poor overall grade is contradictory and rather ironic."
"We enjoyed working with Mr. [Member Name Removed] and look forward to another opportunity in the future."
"We are sorry that Mr. & Mrs. [Member Name Removed] are not completely satisfied with DreamMaker. We enjoyed working with them and having them as customers. At DreamMaker we try very hard to assure customer satisfaction with quality that meets or exceeds industry standards. Although admittedly there were a few bumps along the way, the final result was a beautiful bathroom."
"Mrs. [Member Name Removed] is a lovely person and we enjoyed working at her home. We look forward to another opportunity to work with her again."
"Thanks to [Member Name Removed] for the terrific review. We strive for "A" ratings every day, whether or not they are shared on Angie's List."
"We were rather surprised to see a somewhat negative review from this member since we did not, in fact, do any work for her. The $500 deal she purchased was for a kitchen remodeling project. We did contact Angie’s List on the member’s behalf to ask that a refund be issued to her. We contacted this individual to notify her of that request and to suggest that she contact Angie’s List directly. We hope after a refund is received she will be gracious enough to post an additional comment more to our favor. In defense of DreamMaker, we contacted her in November immediately upon notification by Angie’s List and continued to call and leave messages for several weeks thereafter. She did not call us back until February by which time when we went to look at her kitchen another contractor did the work. She was only interested in having DreamMaker fix some of the items that were not done by the other contractor. She then asked us to take a look at a bathroom remodeling project. In the spirit of good faith, we offered to honor the $500 deal against her bathroom project even though that was not the original deal. Our proposal for the scope of the work she wanted in the bathroom exceeded her budget. This is not unusual and actual costs occasionally exceed customers’ estimated budgets usually because customers do not consider the “invisible” work, such as electrical, wall repair, plumbing, etc. It is unfortunate this member was not satisfied with her experience with DreamMaker but in the future it would probably be a better idea to have a contractor visit to discuss their project before making a financial investment into the unknown."
"Thank you for your terrific review. We enjoyed working with you in November and look forward to working with you again on your next project."
"DreamMaker appreciates you taking the time to post a review and thank you for being a valued customer."
"We appreciate the compliments from this customer. They were a pleasure to work with and we hope to have the opportunity again in the future."
"Angie’s List has been instructed to remove this review from our listing since it has been posted in violation of a Court Order. [Member Info Removed] did take us to court but he neglected to state that his case was completely dismissed and DreamMaker was exonerated of all charges. [Member Info Removed] continues to harass DreamMaker and has been court-ordered to cease and desist from any and all actions against our company. [Member Info Removed]’s bathroom work was completed in June 2014 after which we were hired to remodel his kitchen, also in 2014. DreamMaker has been in business for over 48 years and we are proud of our excellent reputation for integrity and quality of work. We take offense at the accusations made by [Member Info Removed] and are proceeding to investigate legal action against [Member Info Removed] for defamation of our reputation which we strive daily to maintain."
"In response to [Member Name Removed]disappointing review we are taking this opportunity to reply. The bathtub installed in [Member Name Removed]home was an American Standard Americast bathtub. Anyone familiar with these products knows that American Standard is a quality product. We are unaware of any issue with the toilet and if [Member Name Removed] would have called, our plumber would have been sent to take a look and resolve any issues. When our customers sign a contract to work with DreamMaker the complete scope of work and a complete list of materials to be provided and which are chosen by the customer is included in the contract. [Member Name Removed] chose ceramic tile – not vinyl – and the ceramic floor tile was properly installed after removing the old vinyl and installing appropriate underlayment material. The outlet was installed on the correct wall and the shelf was placed at the direction of [Member Name Removed]. Over the course of the project, five workmen were involved in doing the work; including a licensed plumber and licensed electrician. The exhaust fan was never included in the original proposal and, of course, a nominal add-on charge was included. And finally, [Member Name Removed] did purchase her own paint and the cost of $129.76 was deducted from the final bill."
