Bought a floor model refrigerator Had them deliver and install on a Friday It never got cold….we went away for weekend after putting contents of previous frig into it…..all the food was spooked when we got home Took Dons 2 days to send out someone to look at it…. They concluded “oh…it’s a dud” Now we wait another 2 days to get a new one and they refuse to reimburse us for the spoiled food or do anything helpful 4 days without a refrigerator All they will give us is $80 which was cost of installation The value of the contents were much more than $80

If I could give them a 0 I would. I bought a Samsung washer and dryer last April from Don's, and I bought the 5 year extended warranty with them. Almost 2 months ago, my washer started leaking water and would shake out of control. After 3 weeks, a service tech finally came out and found broken pieces and a large hole in the tub, to no fault of my own. He deemed it junk and spoke with Samsung to authorize a replacement. I called several times to schedule the exchange but no one would call me back. My fiance finally got hold of one of the manager's extensions, and it took him calling over and over again for him to finally answer. Instead of an exchange for the exact same washer, that was only a year old, they only credited the sale amount that I initially paid, which wasn't even enough to get the same washer. I had to spend $360 more on a new washer, to be able to get something similar to what I had, and had to buy yet another extended warranty. They delivered the washer today and there is a huge dent in the very front & they scratched up the sides getting it inside the house. We've tried calling several times but again, no one will answer and no one has called back. I only accepted delivery of it because I've already been without a washing machine for over 6 weeks now.

Don's has a number of outlets. Kayla Benton, at the Baum Avenue store, helped us with the purchase and was efficient and very easy to work with. Everything went smoothly from there out with one exception (more about that in a second). The installation was prompt and professional. All would have been perfect if Samsung hadn't shipped a brand new range that had apparently been dropped and was damaged in several places. I called Kayla and she immediately contacted Matt Erfley, the customer service manager with Don's Appliances. To put it mildly Matt is absolutely terrific. Don's Appliances is lucky to have him. Matt referred the problem to Samsung; but initially Samsung's service people declined responsibility claiming that the new range wasn't under warranty (!). When we got that cleared up (which took awhile) Samsung declined to cover the repair because damage (apparently even damage that preexists delivery) isn't covered under the warranty. Through three months of back and forth with Samsung (thank heavens the range was usable so we didn't have to eat out every night), Matt Erfley hung in there, contacting Samsung, contacting his Samsung sales rep, and keeping us in the loop the entire time. Could the damaged pieces be replaced....well, apparently not; how was Samsung going to rectify this? The answer is that after numerous phones calls and emails between Matt and various folks at Samsung, he managed to get Samsung to do what they should have done in the first place, viz, replace the range with a brand new one with no charge to us. Don's delivered and installed it and it is lovely.
We would unhesitatingly use Don's Appliances again. They stand by their customers.

Kayla was amazing. The installation was amazing as well. Dustin and Scott were careful. Everything was put in perfectly. They were fast, efficient and helpful. We felt the prize was very fair. We were really pleased.

Don's was exceptional all-around ... very competitive prices on our refrigerator and washer/dryer set and the delivery / install went flawlessly.
What truly went above and beyond was when my wife and I realized that we ordered a refrigerator with the wrong handle (as we wanted it to match our other appliances) the day before delivery was to occur. We spoke with a salesman and manager at the McKnight Rd. store and they were able to work some magic and swap out our order and deliver the desired refrigerator the next day at no additional charge. Amazing customer service ... we will be using Don's for all of our future appliance needs.

They were as sweet as could be. They didn't charge us much at all and they changed where it went into because there was another place where they could put it. They are very friendly and helpful. They come when they are supposed to come. They don't try to trick us into buying things we don't need. All appliance repairs are expensive. We will absolutely use them again.

Vacuum Cleaners
I am very pleased with my new vacuum cleaner and was happy with their service. They answered all of my questions. I learned that the salesman has two Miele vacuum cleaners himself. It helps me know that the salesman trust this product. It was also encouraging to know that he was willing to match the lowest price I found on this model and they are able to do any service on the vacuum if needed. I am confident that I'm going to have a great vacuum for years to come.
