I would not use this company. I took a chainsaw there that started fine but after I turned it off it had to cool down to start again. They told me 1 week to give me a call it was 3 weeks and I had to call them. They told me they couldn't start the saw and it was over $200 to fix it including an air filter I bought from them previous to running the saw twice. I honestly don't think they even looked at the saw but tried to sell me a new one and took my $50 deposit. The saw is old but would start when I took it there. BUYER BEWARE. When I picked up my saw they gave it back to me in pieces disassembled in a plastic grocery bag. They should be ashamed of themselves. I payed you $53.50 to look at it at least put it back togethor.

Our Troy Built weed trimmer had malfunctioned again so we went to the
Dobosh Center to see what they had to offer. The salesman immediately
understood our problem and showed us an Echo trimmer at a reasonable
price which included a 5 year warranty at no additional cost. He was
very knowledgeable about the product. Not only did he set up the trimmer
for us, he gave us a demonstration. The product works wonderfully. We
are grateful for the friendliness, professionalism and expertise we
received.

I took my Honda lawn mower to Dobosh Center, Inc. on November 14, 2011.  (Purchased there 4 years ago for over $700).  I knew that the mower had a control cable problem and told the Dobosh employee that as I described the problem that I was having.  I was told that the repair would take 7-10 days.  I called  after two weeks to find out why I hadn't been called if the work was completed.  I was told that they would check on it and contact me about it the next day.  I was notified that all that the lawn mower needed was a maintenance package that included adjustments to the Roto Stop cable, that it only needed adjusted.  (cost-$89.00)  On Dec. 12 I was notified that the lawnmower was ready to be picked up.  Since I was traveling, I asked if I could pick it up on Dec. 14, and was told OK.  While I drove to the center to pick up the mower at the end of the day on Dec. 14 and requested that they put it on their dock if they didn't want to wait for my arrival 15 minutes after their quitting time, they called my home and told my wife that the lawn mower was NOT READY yet and needed a Roto Stop cable, as it was broken.  (Store was closed when I got there).  My wife OK'd the repair ($22.99) and was told that they would deliver the lawnmower on Dec. 15.  That day came and went and still no lawnmower!  I called on Dec. 16.  Dobosh apologized and asked if they could deliver it at the end of the day, as one of their employees would drop it off on his way home.  Once again, no lawn mower.  I called on Dec. 17 and they apologized again and delivered it that morning.  By the time that the lawn mower was returned, it had snowed and I couldn't use it to mulch the leaves as I had planned.  I won't be going back there!

"We are able to stay after closing with an advance notice of at least a day. Unfortunately calling the same day is not always possible because we all have families and commitments. We did agree to leave the mower outside for pick up after we closed but found the unit was not working properly. We offered to deliver it back at no charge after the cable was replaced. The employee who was to deliver it back was sick and off work for two days so there was a slight delay in delivering it back. At Dobosh Center we have several mowers we lend to customers that have units in for service at NO CHARGE to them so they can get their yard work done. Since it was Dec we were not aware that you were still using it. If we knew that you needed it right away we could have rushed the repair or given you a loaner. Please contact us if we can help."

The Husqvarna product I purchased had quite a few design flaws. I had a Craftsman before this, and I only needed to repair it once in 14 years. This new mower had to be repaired 4 times in just one summer. They said it's not the mower, it is me. I spent $400 on a blower system that put the grass in the bags. It wouldn't work correctly so I had to bring it in to the store. They kept it for a couple weeks and when I got it back it still didn't work. Finally, I had a buddy come over and look at it. It was a design flaw that he fixed. Another thing I hate about this mower is that hot air from the engine blows directly onto your legs. I asked this company to return the mower after I was so unsatisfied and they did not oblige.

I explained what I needed and he told me I would be happy with the Husqvarna product. I needed to go back and forth from bagging and mulching. I needed to change quickly between these. To change between mulching and bagging has become a 4 hour project. You have to drop the deck and change parts to do these changes.

"We are sorry you are not happy with your Husqvarna tractor. Unfortunately there isn't any tractor in this size that has instant bag or mulch like lawn mowers do. To do a good job of mulching or bagging parts have to be removed and added. Our records show that the tractor was in twice. Once we removed the mulch kit and installed the bagger kit for you at no charge. The second repair was to replace the belt and update the blower on the bagger kit as per Husqvarna and was done at no charge."

I have always found the staff at Dobosh to be very helpful in choosing the right products and assisting with advice on maintaining the product once purchased. I bought my lawnmower there several years ago and have returned my lawnmower and its blades there for regular service. The prices are a little higher than Home Depot, but the personalized service and continued service through the years is well worth it!

THE REPAIR TOOK TOO LONG. WE WERE WITHOUT THE MOWER DURING THE MOST NEEDED TIME OF THE YEAR. I THOUGHT THE COST WAS EXPENSIVE, BUT PERHAPS IT'S COMPETITIVE?

"WE CHECKED OUR RECORDS AND ARE GLAD TO REPORT THAT THIS CUSTOMER PURCHASED A NEW MOWER FROM US IN OCT. 2004. THEY HAD IT SERVICED IN APRIL 2006. THEIR REPAIRS WERE $109 PLUS TAX. THE WORK WAS COMPLETED IN 12 DAYS DURING THE HEIGHT OF THE SEASON."
