In the spring, they put in a new walkway for me. They were right in line, on the pricing. It was $13,000 for the walkway and $2,000 for the landscaping. They were great. The work was high quality and the workers were excellent.

My initial call was promptly returned, an on-site visit was completed, and an estimate was provided within a few days. The landscaper was realistic about the timing of the work completion and was knowledgeable about the plants in my yard. The work was completed over three visits; after each visit clean- up was performed (in other words, they left no mess behind) and the work was top notch. I am very pleased with the end result.

I contacted the company as a friend recommended them. They could only give me an appointment to come out a month and a half after I called them. I thought that maybe they were that good so I waited patiently. I called them on the day of my appointment to confirm and they said they have been trying to call me for the past week to reschedule. I didn't get any phone calls but they they wouldn't take that for an answer and they blamed me for not answering my phone in a very condescending tone. As a physician, my phone is always on me and I answer it 24/7. I told them maybe they had the wrong number and then they were more considerate. I really didn't care that they had to reschedule but as a customer focused company, they need to be more customer focused and not blame their potential client. I asked if I could reschedule giving them the benefit of the doubt, but she hung up on me. Only if I had read the other reviews on here first, I would never have called them in the first place.

"[member name removed], I discussed this matter with my secretary this morning to make sure that we did indeed have the correct phone number as well as email, which we did. I know this because there was back and forth calls to set up the original meeting date. Yes we are booked quite far in advance to look at new projects because we are a very reputable company and our customers matter a great deal to us. This is why we explain to them on the initial phone call that we absolutely understand if they can not wait that long to have the project looked at. We needed to reschedule the appointment due to a family function and were trying to move the meeting up a few days due to a break in the schedule. We left two messages (at the same phone number as the original call) and an email. We make it a practice of confirming our meetings due to the time delay between setting up the appointment and the actual meeting because of the fact that people forget, circumstances change, or they had someone else do the job already. As for our conversation the other day, as I told you, I was in an area with terrible reception and that I would have our secretary contact you on Monday to reschedule before I lost the call. I would never hang up on a customer, that is not my business practice nor my personal manner. I am sorry that you took it that way, ans is very offensive to me. In 2009 when we built our new home in Franklin Park Borough; we chose Diamond Landscaping Inc. as our landscape contractor. We met with Barb and Tom and really liked their ideas; so we put our job totally in their hands. Since the scope of work was extensive, they had no problem meeting with us multiple times to make sure we were satisfied with the final design.

We are very pleased with the results. Our plantings, walls, patios, waterfall, and golf putting green all look beautiful. People still stop outside our house to admire our landscaping.

We highly recommend Diamond Landscaping Inc. without hesitation and give them a 5 star rating. We still use Diamond Landscaping today to maintain our property.

They seemed very professional and excited to do our project. In order to get an actual bid, we had to agree to $100 design fee. We felt like the initial meeting went well, so we agreed and sent a check for $100. Many landscapers give bids for free and in our recent experience, they have all been able to get us a bid within 2 weeks. After sending $100 to Diamond, we never heard anything about them receiving our money, or when they thought they could get us a design. We finally contacted them after a month. They were very defensive and said they were no longer interested in our project and would be returning our check. We were quite shocked, as we just wanted to know when we would be seeing a design. It seems that once you receive $100, you should be willing to at least keep the customer informed. We did get our check back, but after the somewhat unprofessional treatment we received, I would not recommend this company.

The owner came out to give us a designed plan of what our yard would look like. we were thrilled and could not wait to get started. It took forever for them to come out and start thought they said they would be out in a week. They planted several plants/bushes that have since died and need replaced at our expense. they tore up the yard and attempted to try to repair it but this summer it looks worse than ever. For the price I was very disappointed. It was a complete rip off. I tried to call them to come out and fix the job but they never returned by calls. I could have gotten a much better job done with a company that probably would have charged me less. I wont use them again and will not recommended them to others. very disappointed with this company.

Started great. The entire project went over two years. Had good rapport with the owners. Towards the latter part of the project respnsiveness and punctuality were real problems. Follow up after the installation was complete was horrible. The pond has leaked from the beginning. Company came out twice to try and repair. Unsuccessful. After that would not return my calls. Claims they sent me an estimate to rebuild the pond (yes, that is correct!), but I never received it and they certainly did not follow up. It is also obvious now that they did not understand landscaping (we, I believe, were one of their first landscape projects). Trees are much to close together, many plants died in the first years (roses planted in the shade, etc). Each year the stones fall off of the facing on the front stairs. Large sections of pavers have broken or disintegrated and the entire driveway has shifted at least 6 inches leaving gaps in the pavers and irregulat allignment. We has suggested a concrete curb to retain the pavers on the perimiter of the property. The company insisted that a metal strip nailed into the ground would be sufficient. It wasn't, and the weight of the patio has overtaken that small retension strip. Yes it has been a while but these problems all started from the beginning. I certainly would expect stonework of this (supposed) calibre to last longer than 5-10 years. Anyone is welcome to come by and see what I am talking about for themselves.

WE WERE PLEASED WITH THEIR PRESENTATION AND ORIGINAL ESTIMATE. WHEN WE CALLED TO ACCEPT THEIR OFFER, THEY INFORMED US THAT THEIR ESTIMATE WAS INCORRECT. THEY REVISED ESTIMATE WAS TOO EXPENSIVE FOR US.
