I was very pleased with Mr. DeFazio's work. As a business man, he was very professional, prompt returning my calls, and scheduling the work for when he was next available, and showed up on time to do the tuning. As a tuner, he knows his trade and our piano was in good hands.

Excellent response for scheduling. Joe called to let us know he would be a little late. The piano hadn't been tuned for a while but Joe spent the time to do it correctly. He also pointed out some minor issues that we may want to address in the future.

I was very happy with how promptly he scheduled my work and with how the work was done. I plan to have him return in the fall to tune the piano again, and to do some of the needed maintenance.

Our piano had not been serviced or even played much for at least ten years, but when our 7 year old started piano lessons, we decided we better do something. Joe came in and gave a thorough looking over and assessment of the many problems. He tuned the piano partly and didn't charge anything. The following week he returned and spent over 4 hours taking apart the piano, cleaning out dirt, replacing broken pins, stabilizing the pins, repairing broken notes, and tuning the piano. He is a real professional who cares about his craft and doing high quality work.

It was effortless. Joe arrived exactly on time; explained exactly what he needed to do, gave me a quote with the stipulation that if he found anything out of the ordinary he would let me know what that would mean in cost. He told me how long it would probably take and then he got to work. He's pleasant, efficient, and knows his business. I was very pleased.

We called Joe to tune our piano and he responded promptly. His investigation learned that the piano needed repairs to one of the bass clef bridges. After consultation with Joe on the price, we decided to go ahead with the rather expensive repair to a piano that does not have much value. The repair was $358.00. The tune was $107. We think he did great work with care and skill. Because, the piano had not been tuned for such a long time, Joe came back 2 weeks later to returned. We are very happy with the work and will use Joe again. Since then, our two children have begun taking lessons!

Mr. DeFazio readily identified the problems and spent about an extra hour to fix the problems. He did an excellent job and charged only an extra $25. I'm pleased because finding a capable piano technician is not easy.
