We had two large sections of our 80' maple tree fall down. Tom and his crew did an excellent job of cleaning up the fallen sections, taking down the remaining portion of the tree, and grinding the stump. Very happy with their work and will confidently recommend them to others!

Tom was very friendly to speak with. The crew did a great job. It all was done very quickly and they cleaned up around their work very well. Price was very fair. Would definitely recommend.

It wasn't particularly easy to organize a good time since it is fall, a high tree cutting season. Tom initially came very promptly to give us some a quote on some situation with our neighbors, and to look at our other needs. His input was very valuable and very professional. We learned a lot in a short amount of time. We had scheduled a time but he had to reschedule our appointment. Finally we were able to find a good time and they came promptly at 9am. They came with a full crew (likely as they probably had multiple jobs to do that day), and all the necessary equipment and professionals (wood chipper, truck, climbers, etc...). The crew was extremely plaisant and professional, while still staying simple and good going. They did the work in less than 2 hours. They did an awesome job to clean-up the space and even picked-up a good amount of leaf that I had not had time to pick-up. They offered much advice and additional trims here and there with my wife's questions. I've had a share of very average to bad contractors to work with in recent times. Dean Thomas and Tom's crew were among the best people we have worked with. I will definitely call them again if we need more worked done, and I highly recommend them.

Tom came to view the damage and give an estimate within an hour from my initial call. Called later the same evening to let me know that his crew would be out first thing the next day. The crew did an excellent and efficient job clearing the debris.

They were very nice. They cleaned up very well. They even had something to deflect debris from going into the neighbor's yard.

This is my second time using their service. Two years ago, during a spring storm, I had a huge branch fall on my roof. They responded the very next day and removed the branch for me. They also sent their man back up to photograph the roof for me so I could process my claim for the roof damage to my slate. That extra service played a big part in my decision to use them again.

This time the job was little more straightforward.The crabapple tree was overgrown and a deer magnet. The sugar maples severely overhung my roof and posed a hazard to the house. One of them had several dead and broken branches on it, one of which was hanging over my neighbor's house. They also blocked sunlight from my backyard patio.

Tom's workers brought in their hoist truck and made short, efficient work of the entire project. If anything, they actually did more than I requested. I will definitely use them again and will recommend them to anyone who asks.

Beautiful work as always. This is the fifth time I have used them. Very little chainsaw use, they use hand saws mostly. Cleanup was excellent.

Dean Thomas Tree Service took down a large ash tree in our front yard and ground the stump and surrounding tree roots. Our neighbors were home while they took the tree down and told us that Dean Thomas Tree Service took great care to make sure that the house was not damaged during the process, and that they weren't just cutting limbs and letting them drop but rather using cranes to slowly and carefully lower the pieces to the ground so as not to damage our yard. We called several places for estimates and Dean Thomas Tree Service had competitive rates and were very accommodating. We had asked to keep most of the wood and they took the very large unmanageable pieces and brush away , cut up the other pieces into more manageable pieces as well as cleaned up the saw dust left from the stump/root grinding. Our neighbors were so impressed with their services that they hired them to take down their tree, as did a neighbor around the corner.

Contacted their service and spoke with the manager who arranged to come out for an estimate a few days later. When I called to contract for their services he gave me a time they would come. Due to the weather they did not come - although they did not call or follow-up. When I called the following week he gave me another date. They showed promptly on that date, did a great job, and were very professional. I would call them again.

I was pleased with the job and especially with the clean-up.

During a severe storm, our 80+ year old oak tree was struck by lightening. It crashed into our yard and also into our neighbor's yard. Dean Thomas Tree Service did an OUTSTANDING job of removing the huge fallen limbs and also cutting down the remainder of the tree. The tree was over 90 feet tall and necessitated the use of a crane to remove the fallen limbs and the huge trunk. The crew was exceptional. They arrived early in the morning on three seperate days and worked non-stop all day long. Their work also included removal of the stump of the tree. They were extremely professional and courteous. They cleaned up every speck of debris and even swept the stree before leaving each day. We are so thankful that we found them and without a doubt would use them again for any tree work we need to have done. They are supurb!

The crew is unbelievabley fast, efficient, strong, fit and hard working. We had a terrible wind storm. I called and they answered the phone. He told me he would come the next day and he did. He showed up at 8:30 the next day to give me an estimate. There are five or six guys here working continuously. They have a bucket truck and big chipper. When he came for the estimate he fixed the downspout temporarily that had been damaged in the storm. He was so nice. There was a slight delay because they serviced people that had trees fall on their house first. They cleaned up really well. They also do tree pruning. Their operation and the crew know what they are doing. They hardly stopped working.

They did an excellent job and they seemed very professional. They did their work very efficiently and cleaned out any debris that was caused by their work.

I phoned and they arrived in a timely manner. They will also bring more firewood when I need it.
