 + 0 moreDan Barr, an elderly gentleman, kinows his job really well. He responded promptly to our email, arrived on time, was very courteous. He gave a discount for the two rooms. We had moved the furniture but he and his assistant helped in moving all that back wherever we wanted. He and his assistant finished the job earlier than we thought it would take, I was surprised how he came all the way from across the city, on time both days. I highly recommend Dan, a very straightforward and honest contractor.
Description of Work: We had water damage in one of the room's ceilings, so plaster was falling off. One of the bathroom's wall paper was in bad condition. He redid the plaster and painted the entire room. We removed the wall paper and he painted the bathroom- looks great.

 + -1 moreIt took some time for them to get to the job, but that was mostly, if not all, due to the weather: temperature, rain, etc. Once they started, they worked straight through till it was done. They did a great job. Cleaned up every day. No loud radio. Willing to work around my neighbor's schedule (we share a driveway.) The price might be high, we didn't get other bids because our neighbor who is picky about her workers recommended Barr. But in general, you get what you pay for. These guys have been painting for a long time. Didn't rush, didn't dawdle.
Description of Work: Scraped and painted front exterior of house; Tudor style: wood and stucco.
