I purchased a new speed Queen dryer from Daniels in early January. They dryer died after the second load. I contacted Daniels and was told that I was on my own as Daniels is not a certified speed queen servicer. I was not offered any help or compensation. After several calls to speed queen, I was forced to find an independent servicer. When they finally came out they discovered that the main circuit board had failed. They part is on back order with no eta. Since is has been over 30 days without a dryer I was forced to buy a replacement dryer. I have attempted to contact Daniels several times with no response. They don’t stand behind what they sell. I feel that I was mislead as I was never told that they were not authorized to service what they sell despite having a service department.

Overall, it was a good experience. Their was a scratch on part of the microwave that was under the protective plastic. It wasn't anything from the store or installation but apparently from production. They offered to give me touch up paint to fix it, which wasn't satisfactory to me. Daniel's Discount Hardware did call me back and sent another man out to look at the scratch. At the moment I'm waiting to hear back from them. The whole purchase and installation conversation was done over the phone. They did a good job, their prices were reasonable, and they got the delivery and installation done quickly.

The sales person was just as accommodating and good as he could be. It's a junky store, old beat up place but busy as it can be. The delivery and service people were kind and polite. They were excellent. They didn't have a floor model of what I wanted but we went online and showed me refrigerator after refrigerator until we found what I wanted. After that, I told him that I'd like to look at dishwashers while I'm at it. He couldn't have been more accommodating. Then we looked at stoves. He didn't know, but I'm getting ready to go back this Saturday and buy the rest of it. He still gave me every bit of time and answered everything. I was very pleased with him.

Brought a new smart TV, delivery driver friendly, informative, prompt and on time.Salesman, Bob at store was very knowledgeable about TV and features available. Daniels was at least $75-100 cheaper than other competitors, both online & in store.I will purchase more appliances in the future for my home, Daniels is more personable and your just not a #, I would strongly suggest going to Daniels for a great bargain on any appliances or other fixtures for your home.

Was in market for a new electric range. After making decision on brand and model, began shopping around for best price as well as service. We have purchased large ticket items before from Daniel's and have always had great prices, installation, and service. After checking multiple dealers, including on-line, Daniel's still beat everyone by almost $100.00.Bob very knowledgeable and helpful with placing order. No pressure to purchased extended warranty. Explained why the electrical pigtail has to be replaced. Placed order on Friday night and was delivered Monday morning. Installers were careful of walls and were very quick with removal of old appliance and installation of new one. They also leveled it.

We needed a new refrigerator in a hurry because our "old" one died suddenly due to a compressor failure. We checked Angies' List and chose to go to Daniels' because of their multiple positive reviews. The sales people were very helpful. They had a good selection of refrigerators. The prices were excellent. They provided us with a loaner until the one we purchased could be delivered. The only thing that we had a problem with was that their insurance didn't cover the attachment of the water line to the new refrigerator, so I had to call a plumber for that, which cost an additional $100. They didn't advise me of that in advance.

Salesperson was very knowledgable. Quotes provided over the phone were the same as in store. Delivery was provided the next day as scheduled at the time scheduled (within the quoted two hour window). Refrigerator is operating as excepted. The only difficulty was some ambiguous information provided on the rear skirt on the refrigerator concerning what ice maker was correct for the model. This was quickly cleared up by the store and confirmed by the GE customer service phone line.The price was over $150 less than other quotes I received from other dealers. My experience is that Daniel's is general less expensive than other dealers.

The tech was onsite within an hour. He used a tool to test the compressor. Within minutes he provided the good news, the compressor started up. He went to his service van to retrieve the part. The problem was with the starter which contains an overload circuit which may have failed. A half hour from the time he walked through the door and $145 later, my refrigerator was working!! Ironically, the tech's name just so happened to be Daniel, not the owner but represented his company very well !!

I like that they have been in business for the past twenty five years and they are family owned. They have the best prices in the world. I have never had to call any one to service my appliances because they are quality made.

They sell at a real big discount. It's messy, crowded, and cluttered but they give you a good deal. It's better to know what you want and have had done your research on the product you need before you go in.

I really like Daniel's Discount Appliances. They are very willing to help you and give you good advice about your selections. They seem to know a lot about the appliances they sell. I would give them a high recommendation.

We needed to replace our washer in a hurry. We did some research online and called Daniel's, and they had what we wanted. The price was lower than any other place we called, and they were able to deliver the next day. The delivery people were on time and efficient. I would definitely buy any future appliances from Daniel's.

Job 1: Originally, the dryer was to be delivered on the afternoon 2 days after I cld, but they canceled 1-2 hrs before. This was somewhat of an inconvenience since my husband had left work early to be home for the delivery. The delivery was rescheduled for 1st thing the next morning, & the delivery man was apologetic abt the mix-up. He took out the old one, hooked up the new dryer, & showed me quickly how to use it. Job 2: I just ordered the microwave over the phone since their price for the identical model was at least 10% less than 1 other private store & 15% less than 2 ''big box'' stores as was their price for installation. However, since I needed an electrician to repair the outlet that the microwave would use, I didn't use their installer. I saved $10 & having to wait at home on delivery by going to the store where they put it in my car for me. The only slight inconvenience is that I needed to go to their store for the receipt & then drive down the str to pick up the appliance.

The store itself was homey and pleasant, as were all the personnel. The delivery people and phone contacts were also very pleasant. There was a glitch that made the first delivery date not work out, and it was a bit hard for me to get the time of delivery down. All the back and forth phone process was handled in a very friendly way. The selling was not hard sell at all. I would definitely return to them for future appliances. The price was good, and the item was not that easy to find because of size restrictions.
