It was more costly than we expected but that is because the job itself became more extensive, as described above. Quality of materials was excellent, workmanship was great, timeliness in final completion was a bit slow, due to changes, but I was happy to have a solid job. I gave Puctuality an A because they contractors showed up right on time when they said they would. But pulling all the final items together took a bit longer that we had hoped. We've used Consolidated many times in the past for a great variety of home contractor jobs. We have developed a solid sense of trust that Lloyd and his team of contractors can and will address whatever comes up and the price will be reasonable and the job will be done right. I gave a B for pricing because the pricing is not low, but it is reasonable and fair. If you're looking to get the cheapest job, you can ask Lloyd and he can probably pull together something for you.

The whole process was very easy for me because I could trust the workers and Lloyd, the owner. Once they knocked down the walls the elctricians came in to change old wiring and update the rest accordingly. They were punctual and excellent. The whole process was rather easy. Everything looked good and on the odd inctances that it wasn't to our satisfaction then Lloyd made sure to correct it immediately. For instance when the cabinets came two of them had nicks. Lloyd picked them up and sent them right back to exchange for new ones. It was a relief and nice to see somebosdy care about the quality of work being done here. It's a very beautiful kitchen now. We love it.

It didn't! Should have known from the way he answered phone. Place of business is on the other side of town so I can't imagine him coming all the way out here for nothing.

They were great. They were on time. They kept their word and did a really good job.

We used Consolidated on several occasions. In 2006, they did extensive work on a home we bought for my children. New roof, gutters, downspouts, soffit and Facia, windows and doors, exterior painting and some minor work inside. Used again in 2009 on an investment property. Electrical and some plumbing, general carpentry. Did a great job replacing rotted wood in garage and basement. Workmanship was excellent. Always showed up on time. Never any additional add on charges unless I asked for additional work to be done. Highly recommended!

We live in a large home that is almost 100 years old. The basement was leaky and moldy and completely unfinished (concrete floor) with a very old out-of-code electrical system. Lloyd brought in a crew of people who gutted the entire basement and rebuilt everything. Some particulars involved rebuilding a wall that was covered with mold; replacing almost every electrical wire; dealing with various plumbing issues; and doing a lot of woodwork and building of walls. Amazingly Lloyd had people to do all of this. The people Lloyd brought in were trustworthy and knowledgeable and polite. We felt safe leaving them in the house while we went to work. Lloyd was also very knowledgeable himself and explained everything to us very clearly. The total cost of the basement was around $30,000 (including waterproofing that was handled separately). We were so happy with the basement, that we have since hired Lloyd to paint the entire exterior of our house. The cost was about $7,000, and this was finished quickly and professionally. Some complications involved a window that had rotted and needed to have new woodworking done. Lloyd had people to take care of this. Our final project involved the gutter system, which had been relined 4 times and yet was completely rotted through. Lloyd brought in roofers and woodworking people to do this job. This is still in progress, but is looking like it will be finished soon, and will cost around $11,000. Working with Lloyd is a pleasure. He is very trustworthy, doesn't cut corners, and isn't afraid to tell you what is needed. He doesn't get upset if you say that you want something to be repainted or redone in some way. Work is completed mostly on time. The price is high, but it's worth the piece of mind you get from working with a real professional. We highly recommend hiring Lloyd.
