Very professional, very sympathetic to damaged items lost in basement flood. Punctual and overall pleasant given the circumstances of events. Would definitely use again in any emergency event. Hopefully that doesn't happen again though :)

Around the end of 2012, my main sewer line had backed up and overflowed into my basement. My laundry room, furnace room, and garage were all partially flooded with raw sewage. I was recommended to Cleanup Fire and Water by a plumber who had dealt with the company previously. Seeing as the job had to be done as soon as humanly possible, I gave them a call. That night, around 9 o'clock, an employee named Wes pulled into my driveway to estimate the job. I was fairly surprised at how fast he was able to be there, seeing as I had only called him 4 hours prior to him arriving at my house (after hours, as well).
Wes came in and explained how I should go about handling this through my insurance company. The actual job was around $4500, although Wes explained that homeowner's insurance would cover the entire job (minus my deductible), so I ended up paying $500 out of pocket. A day later, after filing a claim with my homeowner's insurance, I gave Wes a call back to green light the job. His crew was able to come in the next day and clean up the mess. Once again, I was surprised at how fast the entire job was completed.
Another thing that really stood out to me was the fact that the company didn't merely clean up the sewage - they went above and beyond to remove an entire furnace room of asbestos tile, as well as a laundry room that was partially covered. As Wes had explained to me - the only way to properly clean up sewage from under the tiles was to rip them up completely, clean and treat the bare floor, and then seal the entire surface with paint (seeing as it was asbestos tile). The finished product looked great. After all was said and done, the basement actually looked better than it did before the sewer had backed up.
I couldn't have been happier with the quality of service I received from Cleanup Fire and Water. They were extremely fast, extremely punctual, and made the entire process very straight-forward and easy to understand. Any questions of mine were answered, and the entire ordeal was said and done quicker than I expected. I would definitely recommend Cleanup Fire and Water to anyone in need of clean up services.
