I would in no way hire this company or the owner - Michael T Sciarretti again. While Michael does possess a unique eye for design and construction together his work quality varies greatly. During demolition his crew cut our radiator pipes and nobody caught it causing water damage - he wouldn't even cover the deductible for our claim. I also found out he paid part of his demo costs with our copper pipes instead of cash which he swore to us he wouldn't do! We also tried to change scope as we learned more about the house which he promised us we could but then he refused to be flexible at the end and ended up stealing from us when the bank distributed more money than the work done - to this day he hasn't given us the money back which is tens of thousands. We started to involve an attorney but stopped as he was literally using the money he was overpaid to fight our claim. Worst of all he is our neighbor and if you can do that to a neighbor I don't know what you wouldn't do. He is overpriced and outright lied to us about how many people work for him (he said at least 3 and as it turns out it was just 1 at the time). He also promised us that he would let us decide which contractors to use and while he might have been getting multiple bids he never shared any of them with us, he then tried to claim that he would be doing the work himself. It was a cluster and made our lives miserable and caused a great financial inconvenience. I appreciate that all of these construction issues can be tough but I haven't had a real issue with anyone else and as you can see from my reviews have been generally really excited by the work of others.
