Excellent service. Stopped by house ahead of time to make sure correct parts were ordered. On time and professional.

Was able to schedule an appointment the same morning I called, which was really important. The lock smith called by phone 10 minutes before his arrival. The door had to be removed at the hinges in order to get the door open. Once the door was removed the lock smith replaced the striker and he had us try to the door before he left. Total time for the job was around 30 minutes.

I would give them an A for everything. They showed up quickly and were courteous. I haven't had any problems with my locks.

Turn-around was much faster than I anticipated - same day! Didn't look at other sources, so I'm not sure if the price is good. It's the first time I used them; I choose them primarily because they're a family owned business that's serviced the area for many years.

I have 2nd and 3rd floor tenants, who use a common outside entrance door. They kept jamming the lock somehow; locking each other out. This never happened before in 24 years. I had to find a solution, as my husband and I travel, and wouldn't always be available to let someone in. I called Mr. Scherer and he pinned the lock and the tenants can't jam it now. It was worth every penny.

When I called initially, he said that he couldn't do the work b/c he doesn't do carpentry. I then realized that the lower lock was still viable, and he came up to rekey that (I didn't have a key for the floor level deadbolt). Once he was here, he said that if I had nails he'd nail up the piece of wood that had been kicked out since it wasn't complicated carpentry work. I got himi nails, and the door locks again with both locks. I am thrilled that this was all addressed so easily.
