The crew was of 3. They showed up on time. They were there for about 2 1/2 hours. The house was sparkling clean! I was really pleased with their service. I will be using them again in the future.

I've wasted a lot of money in my life, but this was the worst move I've made. Mary Alice made nice when we met. Since I'd never hired cleaners, I wanted to understand how it worked, what she did, what products used, and how long they would be in my home. We walked thru my house, she pointed out cobwebs (yes, they look for and clean them), sink/tub/fixtures/tile; inside windows, mirrors and framed pictures glass; behind and under furniture. And, yes, they'd even steam clean loads of dirt on my basement floor from pulling up flooded carpeting. Wow, everything sounded good. The result? The "NOT CLEANED" List: piles of cobwebs, carpet dirty under bed, mirrored antique vanity only partially cleaned (top and drawers, but not drawer handles or kneehole underneath); tops of wall heating ducts/returns in all rooms, down sides of furniture was still dusty. Loads of dirt in bathroom - much grime in tub, dust on top of surround tile closer to ceiling (at about 6') and on top of shower fixture; front and back of toilet; corners filthy, as was a 3 inch strip of floor between sink vanity and wall; walls still splashed and 'sticky' spots on mirror. Hardwood floors in kitchen, living room and hallway were so badly smeared and lots of spill spots remained. Corners weren't even touched by their steam cleaner!!! Windows showed smear marks the next day, which looks like dirty rags/towels were used. Basement floor wasn't even swept or steam cleaned, piles of dirt/dust/dustbunnies all over the floor. They set their steam cleaner down on the temporary blue rubber 'puzzle' floor tiles, leaving burned straight marks - it's the first thing you see coming down the steps. And no one had the courtesy to tell me! Behind furniture in every room was never touched. Living room furniture was not moved, dust behind and under everything; wiping down a leather chair was a request, and she assured me she would get that. Upon meeting Mary alice, she told me she vacuumed all furniture, but that, too, didn't happen. Kitchen floor was so dirty and missed spots, but the dirty wet rag used to wipe the stove 'control' panel was the most disgusting, when the light hit it from the side, it was one big drip mark about 2' wide, and 6" high. Brillo pad smell came out of my toaster and the gas jets on my stove. And again, lots of those pesky sticky spots on windows, microwave door glass, window over sink, etc. The ending?? When I called her to discuss, she defended. I declined to have her bring her crew back to redo my house. The experience was sooo disappointing and draining that I just didn't want to relive it. Too bad, I liked her and wanted this to work out.

Mrs. Bankston and her staff are very punctual and professional. Mrs. Bankston supervised and checked each room from beginning to end of the cleaning process and left a detailed report attached to the door of each room cleaned.

Ms. Bankston is a consummate professional. She was prompt, knowledgeable, and thorough for the estimate and cleaning. She provided references and a certificate of insurance, as well as suggested protocols for her team to securely access my house in my absence. She answered all of my questions about her crews, and we agreed that they would clean only with unscented, eco-friendly products. She taught me about steam cleaning for disinfection. She also noted that the bedroom doors must be closed while cleaning to keep our cats out. Upon confirming the appointment for the estimate, she reminded me of the estimate fee (it's applicable to the first service). We communicated via phone and email. The cleaning was thorough, and they really washed all of the baseboards and wood trim. The price seemed high at first, though now I realize it's fair market for a real cleaning company , as opposed to a cleaning person.

Mary Alice Bankston runs a very professional service. The team that came into my house was diligent about their work. Sometimes baseboards were missed as well as finger marks, but overall the work was well done. The team was most pleasant to work with, and I miss them. I had to discontinue their service for financial reasons, not through any fault of theirs.

Mary Alice arrived punctually to provide an estimate and was extremely polite and professional. She spent several hours scrubbing the kitchen and bathroom of our new house and used environmentally friendly cleaning supplies. We were having our HVAC ducts cleaned at the same time, and she was able to work around those guys and their equipment without complaint. She said that it would be about the same cost for regular biweekly cleaning of the entire 3 br 1 ba house, which was significantly more than other estimates we received.

I identified Bankston Cleaning from the listing on Angie's List and called for an estimate. Maryalice came out and spent more than 30 minutes going over the house with me and explaining what her team would do and the cost. She was incredibly professional, punctual, and pleasant to work with. Maryalice and her team make every cleaning enjoyable and do a great job. They have been cleaning from me for at least the last 4 months. I am very pleased with the service.

I have been using Bankston for the past month and I couldn't be happier. I have used other cleaning companies in the past and they are head and shoulders above the rest. Mary Alice and her staff are professional, pleasant and pay attention to detail. I know a clean house and when thy leave it is clean! I like them so much I am going to refer my mother to them. I wouldn't just refer anyone as my mother also has high standards! It is a pleasure working with them and I look forward to a long relationship.

This is the third time that Maryalice and her team have cleaned my house. They showed up exactly when they said that they would. They are very thorough, friendly and honest. Maryalice is the owner of the company and really wants to make her customers happy. I have 2 cats and 1 dog that shed like crazy. The amount of pet hair did not bother them a bit. My house looks wonderful. I highly recommend Bankston Cleaning. I will be calling them again!

Just the best you could ever hope for. The work force and owner were the best. To the person who did not leave these people good marks . . . there must be something wrong with you as there is no way that these people would not perform services of this nature for all of their clients. We will use them again and again.

Cleaning was satisfactory, however they did not clean under rugs or the floor behind the toilets. One of the cleaning crew disturbed the logs in our ventless fireplace and rearranged them improperly. As a result, soot accumulated on our living room walls, and we had to have the room painted. I spoke to the owner when we noticed that the logs were rearranged (immediately after they cleaned our house), but she and the crew member did not accept responsibility. When we noticed the soot on the walls, I asked them to pay for the painting job. The owner refused, even though they have insurance. I discontinued their services.

Mary Alice is a great communicator. If there is any reason that they might be running late, she calls. I feel comfortable with Mary Alice and her employees in my home. Hers is the first housecleaning service that I've trusted with a key to my home. The quality of cleaning is wonderful and if someone has a question they don't hesitate to ask. They have all been friendly and kind with my children. They treat me, my family and my home as if it were their own, and they make me laugh every time they're here. Mary Alice and her employees are friendly, professional and a true pleasure to have in my home. I highly recommend her to friends.

Ms. Bankston was professional at our first meeting, which served as a chance for her to give me a cost estimate for a general housecleaning. Her estimated price of $130 was certainly reasonable, but when the company left my house after the first cleaning I realized I got what I paid for. Too many corners where literally cut. Crumbs in the corner of my kitchen floor remained, cobwebs up in the ceiling corners were unconsidered. But overall, things were cleaner and done well enough. I simply would be willing to pay more for a more thorough cleaning job.

Maryalice was very prompt in returning my call requesting an estimate for cleaning my home. She came to do the estimate a couple days later, and was on time and professional. She described how her company cleans homes thoroughly from top to bottom. Maryalice has a wide array of cleaning products (she says she is always testing out and ordering new brands!), but if you would like her to use your own, she will happily do so. She also asked me if I had a preference of cleaning scents, such as lemon, orange,lavender or pine. I was extremely pleased with how detail oriented Maryalice and her employees were. She even polished my silver candleabras (which had a year of tarnish on them!) and ironed my sheets since they were so wrinkled. Maryalice and her employees are always pleasant, and really take pride in their work. I have had several cleaning companies in the past, and Maryalice has surpassed my expectations for creating a clean, fresh smelling home!

They showed up promptly and with all eco-friendly, allergy-sensitive products, as requested. They did an amazing job cleaning the oven. The floors were shining. The bathrooms were great. They were clean, professional, and tidy. They were also cheerful, and kind to our small dog. I liked them immensely. The only thing was that the baby's high chair was not cleaned. I was a little sad to have to clean it myself later, but I should have specified that it needed to be cleaned. A minor inconvenience.

The service I received was most professional. They were punctual and upon their arrival, commence to work.The staff took the iniative to move everthing possible in order to clean behind and under the furiture this was done with the upmost caution and respect for my belonging.
