Brock and one of his colleagues did a professional job installing the decking.  It looks great.

B. C. Construction did an excellent job on our deck. It was a big job, and the weather was pretty challenging, but in the end it came out great.  The owner, Brock, did a lot of the work himself, along with a crew of one or two guys.  The used a Cortex hidden fastening system to attach the deck boards.  This was done after the initially proposed system (Tigerclaw) did not work well.  The fact that Brock chose to change the system (which was probably more costly to him in terms of material and labor) rather than persist with a poor system is a testament to his workmanship.  We are very happy and look forward to using our deck when the weather turns!

They were one of the only people who seemed to be competitive in response and pricing for this work. They were punctual and did a fantastic job. This is a very professional company that I would absolutely use again.

*  Provided a timely estimate and explained in detail what the Trex product was and how it would benefit us.  We chose the winter time frame because he was able to provide us a discount during that time period. We also felt that he would provide us a good end product based on other Angie's List recomendations. And after meeting with him, we felt he presented himself and his work in a professional manner.  He began just before Thanksgiving and was done within three weeks.  He and his partner were always professional and pleasant to deal with.

It was a great experience from start to finish.  Brock was very timely and actually did most of the work himself.  He was very easy to work with and I will definitely reccommend him to anyone. 

Brock and the BC Construction crew built my front porch last summer i was so impressed I had them construct my deck.  Once again I am blown away with the quality and craftsmanship. My deck is so beautiful,  all done with Trex and vinyl. and the best part Brock was able to get it done before Fourth of July.  I even invited him over for a beer, he professionally declined with a smile and a handshake. A++++ work once again. Thank you Brock and BC Construction.

A family member was often home during the construction period and we are very satisfied with the efforts of the two men employed in this project The cleanup was good and the bill was paid in 3 stages 33% - 33% - 34% upon completion. This provider was selected from Angies List and was selected by us because he was located in the south hills where e live and because his Angies List references were credible You can add our household to your list of satisfied customers

Brock is a true craftsman. He did an amazing job on our deck. He approached building our deck the same way that a carpenter would approach building crown molding. He is detailed focused and takes great pride in his work. We are thrilled with the outcome - a work of art. I had some other landscaping projects going on at the same time and Brock had to work around our schedule. He was very flexible and fun to work with. The inspector gave us some challenges, but Brock was solution oriented and owned the process. He did not increase his cost or complain .. he just stayed focused to getting the job done. I was traveling out of the country for parts of the project. I told Brock what my expectations were from a quality standpoint. I trusted him and he delivered. Brock is a better value than the other 'deck factories' of Pittsburgh.

I was impressed because Brock indicated that I could save some money if I demolished the old deck. I took advantage of the savings. Although the deck was only six foot off the ground, it was put in as substantially as if it was much higher. I was also impressed with the railing which was constructed with the decking material instead of the 2X4's that I most often see. There was one thing that I was unhappy about the completed project. I went into it expecting and hoping that a differential between the old deck and the concrete pad would be eliminated. It was not, but Brock explained that he did not want to build the deck out of level or out of plume. I asked him to do the best he could and I am most pleased with the result. The differential is still present but is much more uniform and I feel is less of a tripping hazard.

After finding this company on Angies list,I called Brock Campbell owner of B.C. Construction. We made an appt to come look at the work I wanted done. He was very prompt in scheduling and coming. He gave me a detailed estimate and answered all my questions. The crew along with Brock arrived a day ahead of schedule and the work was done in a very efficient manner. The deck was very well crafted, the stairs are awesome and the door installation was precise. I couldn't be happier with the results and would and have recommened this company to others. Also I spent the summer trying to even get a company to come look at the work I wanted done, I had given up on the idea of getting this done this year when I decided to join Angie,s List. It was money well spent.

Well, I've told the whole story above: but to repeat, it all went very well from start to finish, excellent experience all round. I should add that Brock and crew turned up promptly every morning, and worked daily through temps in the 90's, not missing a minute

He started the job on time and finished it. Nobody else was available to do the work the way he did at that time.

The job went through flawlessly. Brock compleated my porch in 1 day. He even added a pesonal design on for free. I was very impressed with every aspect of the job. I plan on having a deck built late august. BCconstruction will be my contactor for then and for the future
