ARRAUJO ELECTRICAL

The job went great!  The crew that worked on our house (Scott, Larry, and Eric) were all extremely nice guys.  They moved furniture in and out of the rooms that they were working on, covered our floors to prevent damage, explained everything that they were doing, accommodated several small changes that we had to the job, and even put up with our dogs being around the house while they worked.

Arraujo did many things that other contractors who gave us bids refused to do.  Every outlet that was installed went where we wanted it, as opposed to where it would be easiest to install.  For example, other contractors refused to put outlets into our existing baseboard ("We're not carpenters") and instead wanted to put them into our plaster walls.  Arraujo put all outlets into the baseboard, and did such a nice job that you can't even tell the newly cut-out and installed outlets from the outlets that replaced the old existing ones.  The crew that worked on our house also took care to patch any (small) holes that were made in our plaster walls to run the wire, which is something that other contractors told us that we would need to do ourselves.

Given that our whole house was being worked on, we expected the job to be hectic.  However, when the guys left at the end of each day, you had almost no idea that they had been there.  The basement---which was full of tools and wiring during the day---was organized and accessible to us for doing laundry, etc.  Furthermore, every area of the house that was worked on during the day was thoroughly vacuumed and cleaned prior to the crew leaving.

Overall, these guys were extremely professional and courteous, and everything in the house works great.  Arraujo wasn't the cheapest estimate for the work that we had done, but I have no regrets about hiring them.

They are very professional and honest. I find their responsiveness overwhelmingly excellent. I like the way they run their business and their attention to detail (which is rare). The prices are reasonable and well worth it.

They came highly recommended by a store I used and that is why I initially started using them. They have workmen who know what they are doing. I felt confident about them and did a very good job. I did not have any reasons to call them back to redo any job.

They arrived when they said they would and did the promised work. They were professional as usual. At one point they needed to wire outside a wall and asked if that was OK.

They are professional, friendly and good at what they do. Their pricing is reasonable and explain things well. The quality of their work is good and I have been satisfied with their service.

The last job he did for me, we were having problems with the lighting installations. The thing that I appreciate the most about him is that he can solve problems that come up during installation, on the "fly". He is always detail orientated and is very nice to deal with and we have used him for about 4 years.

WORK WAS DONE AS SPECIFIED, BUT HAD TO SEND SOMEONE OUT A FEW TIMES TO FIX PROBLEMS, COMPLETE ITEMS THAT WERE MISSED- COMMUNICATION PROBLEM BETWEEN OWNER AND EMPLOYEES WHO ACTUALLY DID THE WORK. WORKERS WERE PLEASANT AND PROFESSIONAL. EVERYTHING WAS DONE CORRECTLY AND PROFESSIONALLY BY THE END OF THE PROJECT. WE WERE SURPRISED BY THE FINAL INVOICE, IT WAS HIGHER THAN THE ORIGINAL ESTIMATE, AND WE WEREN'T WARNED IN ADVANCE.

CONTRACTING WAS COMPLETED AS DESCRIBED IN ESTIMATE TO THE WORD. ALL WORK DONE IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER. VERY NEAT!
