Our dog was beautifully groomed and we were very satisfied.

I have never charged $80 for a westie in the 15 yrs I've been grooming. And if this customer was so unhappy back in 2013 why is the review written in 2015? Again I stand behind my work and my groomer Amanda's work 100%. It's very easy to sabotage people and their businesses on these websites and I hope everyone can see that. Thanks!!

When we first adopted our Dachshund Mitsie we had gone thru a number of dog groomers in search of one we could trust.
It seems that Long Haired Mini Dachshunds are a difficult animal to groom properly as we found out.
A neighbor mentioned Animal Elegance on Butler Street and we have been with them for almost ten years.
They are so good with our Mitsie and their work place is spotless.
The place is our go to place for sure!

They are very good. I go there every six weeks. They charge about forty-some dollars. They are extremely clean. They just treat the animal really well and they do a very nice job. I think they are very reasonable.

In regards to the "F" review, I have been grooming for 15 years and my employee has been grooming for 12. The dog in question came in extremely matted as it has before. The owner was told that the dog would have to be shaved due to the matting. The owners respo se was "ok I understand. Do what you hav e to do."we kept the matting to show them but they did not want to see it. I stand behind my groomer 100%. the dog was not even taken all the way down. I discussed with the owner about correctly brushing the dog which he had not been doing. The price was high because of the severity of the matting. Here at Animal Elegance we stand behind our grooming 100%.

They actually sheared all the fur from my dog claiming that
it was matted and therefore they had no choice. This isn’t true as I personally
brush my dog every morning. When I complained, the owner said: “But we did tell
you that we will cut the dog’s fur short.” Yes, they did, and I thought that considering
that the days are hot in August, they are proposing a little cooler grooming. I
never expected them to just shear the dog to the skin.
I think they did it because they are hopelessly irresponsible.
Although they charged $70 for this brutally simple operation they have not even
trimmed dog’s ears and tail. Consequently, the dog has disproportionally long
hair on its tail and the ears.
I used Animal Elegance for more than a decade. Long before current
management took over. Over all these years I sometimes took in stride their accessional
compromise of standards and always paid their exorbitant prices without
complaint. However, this fragrant negligence, combined with their total
disregard of the fact that I was an old and loyal customer did it. I will avoid
this place from now on and would like to suggest that you do the same.

I had used this groomer in the past, but I moved and it wasn't convenient. When I call the groomer at Petco, they wouldn't groom cat over the age of 10. But when I looked on Angie's List, I found Annimal Elegence's review, so I called. They were willing to take my Annabelle even though she's older. She looks great!

They seem to be very good with the animals.

If I leave a voicemail, they call back right away. It is also really easy to make appointments with them.

Did a very nice job on both. They traditional just need his legs and beard trimmed. The wheaton's an older dog with many allergies and a very fine thin coat. She comes out looking adorable. They are consistent with their price-a wash, cut and nail trim is $30 per dog. We had been going to a chain and ended up with a different price each time. Very nice-will use again

They did an excellent job. I won't go to anyone else. They take good care of my dog, and they know the technicalities of trimming a dachshund. They know how to take care of her fur, and it is always properly done. When they tell you that your animal will be done a certain time, the animal is usually done. The prices are reasonable for the work they do.

They did a really good job and they are really nice people. The place is small, but all works out well with them. To be honest, it is a really nice place. The charge all depends on how big the dog is. They are very helpful and very cooperative as well. I enjoy taking my dog there. I have no problems with them and I would give them a good recommendation.
