I can not recommend Americo and would encourage others to find another contractor. We were referred to Rick Criscella and went with his quote to replace our large concrete driveway. They subcontracted all of the work and despite providing a one-year warranty on workmanship and materials would not offer to rectify any of the failed project. You can see in the pictures- after one year there is extensive spidering, cracking, pitting and discoloration across the driveway. Thee team completely forgot to consider drainage when pouring the slab, and decided to run pvc around the outside, which does not flow downhill. The water under the driveway cause heaving and cracking in the first freeze. The team left massive amounts of rubble that I'm still finding in the gardens, and I hounded Rick for a year to come look and only received "on my way soon" messages. Pay more to work with a reputable contractor, this isn't it.

I had my driveway and sidewalk done. I absolutely love it! Fantastic work and the crew was amazing! I definitely will use Americo again!!!

Lawn was ripped up .They got dirt to patch up but had to use my own grass seed. FOUND CLUMPS OF CONCRETE IN MY LAWN THAT I HAD TO PICK UP BEFORE I COULD CUT GRASS. THE GUYS WERE GREAT BUT VERY LITTLE SUPERVISION.

Spoke with John on friday 14th of October and got an estimate on the spot. Crew showed up the following Monday and the job was finished on the 20th. Excellent work and excellent value for the price

He would not stand by his work, he would not make good on it, Quality of work is not good.

As they were repairing my driveway they were negligent and they put holes in my bathroom which caused me to have my bathroom repaired. Also my driveway cracked less than a year after they did the work. Overall a horrible company and obviously they do not know what they are doing.

NOT GOOD at all. I paid for a new retaining wall and a new sidewalk these guys let the cement dry and now half my sidewalk is cracking. I told them this would happen so the next day they came out and scrape half the sidewalk off and applied this pink stuf. now half my sidewalk is a different color plus it is all cracking plus I am slipping on it. would not recommend them to anyone they need to be put out of business. The guys name is Frank?He knew he was wrong. I did file a complain to the BBB. I also called the attorney generals office They did a half job?

The guy was very professional and gave me a beautiful driveway.

They came to do the driveway as soon as there was a break in the weather. They had the old driveway torn up and the new one laid out in two days! It really improves the property and I get compliments all the time!

When you pay them, its on to the next job so do not stop until the job is totally finished and you are completely satisfied or they will never admit let alone fix what they did wrong or what went wrong from the workers that actually did the job I was very unsatisfied with work that was done!

I hired Americo Construction Co. to do cement work in January 2020. The owner promised that for as long as Im alive in my house that I would never see water in my basement with the work they did. One year later and the cement work is already cracking, with water in the basement. They did cement work for my mother as well and its already cracking. They must use the cheapest quality product that absolutely wasnt worth the cost. Now I have to clean up the mess they made. I would never recommend them again.

We needed 2 concrete sidewalk slabs replaced because the overgrown roots of a City owned tree had caused them to buckle. Having been notified by HomeAdvisor, John called me right away, came to inspect and provided a quote. Within a week the guys started the job and had it completed in two days. Very good work and John was easily accessible for questions. Highly recommend Americo Construction. BTW, after repeatedly contacting the City, the tree has been removed!!

Although not the least expensive price, work was done efficiently and done well. My garage floor looks great!

John and his crew installed a concrete parking pad at my home and it was a great experience start to finish. John was so patient, explained everything and mapped out prices. I didn't feel pressured to make any decisions and he guided me through the whole process. His crew was quick, courteous and completed the project in 2 days. They made sure I was happy with every part of the process. We are beyond happy with the finished product!

He has the attitude a business should have, and he displayed he was committed to his trade.

It was the worst cement job I have ever seen I have a driveway that has at least 4 or 5 different colors I would not recommend them to anyone, and to go along with whatever gets HomeAdvisor they were no help in this case.

Americo removed an old asphalt driveway and replaced with a new concrete driveway, it was a big job, 23,000 sq. feet. This company impressed from the start. I called to inquire about a quote at 5pm on a Friday, and they answered the phone!!! Two days later I had a quote, They started work right away and the work was exceptional. They were organized and work extremely hard. The old driveway was removed and new one completed in four days. They were careful and even covered my garage doors to keep clean. The concrete pour and finish is A+. This company even brought top soil to backfill after the forms were removed. I just canâ t say enough, - Americo delighted us and it is the nicest driveway in the area. Have confidence in this company.

John was helpful in suggestion for parking pad and walk to patio. Workers friendly and efficient. Took only 2 days to complete project and it looks great!

They did a very nice job. Came in quick and got the job done. A good crew.
