American Tub & Tile Reglazing Systems

Our bathtub looks brand new, its beautiful!!!!

About 3 1/2 yrs ago I had my bathroom remodeled. The contractor had referred me to Blaze to glaze my tub. After several attempts to get an appointment with him he came out and glazed the tub. About a year later it started to peel near the drain. After numerous attempts, and once him completely not showing up after I had rescheduled my work appointments for the day he finally showed up. He told me maybe it happened because he had not removed the drain when he glazed it. About another year later the same thing. Numerous attempts to get a hold of this guy he came out again really couldn't give me an explanation. He said he has some clients their tubs are fine others some time have issues. This would of been nice to know before deciding to go this route. I also did all the proper maintenance he had recommended certain cleaners to use etc. Once again another year later peeling again and not around the drain. I called Blaze about five times finally got a hold of him on a Friday afternoon he told me to call him Monday evening to set up an appointment for him to come out. Once again I called Blaze Monday evening and numerous times after with no response. I have called another company at this point I have no other choice, but to strip the tub and pay for the entire process again. Since he clearly did not do the job properly. I was told by the other company he most likely did not prep the tub correctly. I contacted my Bathroom contractor, and told him never to recommend this guy. He clearly does not know how to properly glaze a tub, and is beyond unprofessional.

my husband took the day off work for the reglazing,  but no one from this company showed up to do the job and no one contacted us regarding this

after repeated calls from the homeowners and no return phone calls from this company, we decided it was best not to use this unreliable service

Blaise did a great job in the preparation if the room as well as the refinishing of the tub. No damage was done to anything else in the process which was a great concern when hiring someone to do this process which can be messy. HE showed up according to plan and kept in contact with us and kept us informed of the entire process. I would highly recommend his services . We have already referred his name to others that will be in contact with him. He went above and beyond his service and helped us out with an additional problem. He was very professional and punctual and we are very pleased with the current results.

We were in the process of getting our home ready to be put on the market and the bathtub needed refinishing. Blaise was to come out the previous week, but another job needed addressed before ours. He had called and asked if he could reschedule which was fine with us. He came several days later on 5/20/13 to do the reglazing. The entire process took approximately 5 1/2 hrs from the time he arrived. We thought the bathtub looked great until I noticed flaws the next day in the bathtub. The product he used had bubbled in several places around the drain and there were pits in several areas.



I called Blaise Boyko, the owner of American Tub and Tile Reglazing. I explained what I found and he said that he'd come out after he was done at the end of the day. My husband and I waited that day and didn't go anywhere thinking he was coming. He did not show up that day. We called again and again he gave us a date that he would come out, but didn't show on that day either. We played phone tag for several days and he finally came about a month later to see what we were not happy about. When I showed him the flaws, he said and quot;Oh, that's an easy fix. I'll come back when my schedule is freed up and wet sand the flaws.and quot; We waited a couple of weeks and after several more phone calls he finally came out on 7/9/13 to repair his flaws. Unfortunately, he did not repair them properly. The bubbles are still there. He did sand it down a little, but told my husband that he was afraid to sand it down any further because he would do more damage to it. Unfortunately, I was not home on that day. Had I been there, I would have told him to redo it.



His invoice states in writing and quot;When You Want the Job Done Rightand quot; along with the following statement, and quot;American Tub and Tile Reglazing Systems (Quality Product - Honest Work).



On his website and speaking with him, he mentions how many yrs. experience he has in the field and he also informs the caller that he has 25 yrs. experience working for GNU Tub. The years don't add up. That was the reason that we had hired him. For someone with that many years experience, one would expect a job well done. We did not receive that type of service.



Blaise charged us $399.00 but delivered an inferior service. We feel that he should either come back and redo the tub or refund our money. Your assistance would greatly help.

We called him this morning. He called us back immediately. He's already been out today! He explained what was wrong with the tub. He knows exactly what we want and was able to answer any questions that we had. He even told us we didn't need to do the whole bathtub for one of them and recommeded a non slip surface, which shows that he's very honest. He has been in business for 31 years and he really knows his stuff! So far, I would highly recommend him. He's very responsive and he also does his own work.

American Tub and Tile Reglazing Systems did a very good job. The glaze has held up til now, which will be three years this summer. He was very thorough. There was one little imperfection that I noticed afterwards and he came back immediately and corrected it. I was very pleased with his work. He responded quickly although sometimes he ran a little late.

We bought an older home with beautiful tile walls in the bathroom but a very old worn out bath tub. Our realtor recommended American Tub Reglazing to refinish the bathtub. We called and got a quote which we felt was a good value, instead of tearing out the old tub, and ruining all our nice tile work. Blaise came out when he said and did a BEAUTIFUL JOB!!!! The price did not change at all and we still are very happy with his job.

It was a bad job, and it all chipped off. We made appointments with them, and they didn't come on time. They didn't finish the job when they came out, so they had to come back the next day, which caused delays with the project. When we called them back he didn't even answer his phone.
