Total Disaster 1. Asked for more money every week or two without the matching work progress to go along with it. 2. Left a free hanging piece of old framing up above the drop ceiling that eventually became dislodged and came crashing down through my drop ceiling 3. The toilets that he installed leaked, when I called him to come back out to fix them, he asked for more money and insisted that it was the "big people" that had been using it that made it leak 4. Installed wall mounted sinks that came off the wall a few weeks later

He came out 3/31/14 to look at the project, and was a really nice guy.  He scheduled the project to be completed in 3weeks.  We had 6 rain dates in April; but even with those figured in, that 3 week mark came and went.  He kept asking for more money every two weeks.  After may 8th we told him he wouldn't get any more money until we saw more progress.  He said the material we requested takes 7-10 days to arrive, and that our materials would cost more than he originally expected.  He kept giving excuses for why they weren't able to come out to finish the project, it seemed like every week there was a new excuse. He told us the new completion date would be May 17th; at that point we only had a floor, he finally did the ceiling. We had the baldwin building inspector come out last wednesday 6/4 and they said that the the deck looked secured, it would pass inspection, but he didn't like some of the ways the wood was laid.  There is a beam that we have to apply joints to for safety.

The man in charge, Russell West responded to my request for an estimate, was honest about the cost, and completed the work promptly.
