The owner of American Awnings "Ken" is very knowledgeable about the installation of awnings. The work was done right and on time. Everything was cleaned up and hauled away when they were finished. I would definitely recommend American Awnings.
Once Ken received the awning he made arrangement to install it the following week. Ken and his helper arrived on schedule. The awning was designed to rest on the existing deck rail supports. Ken examined the rail supports and made the necessary repairs, at no additional cost, prior to installing the new awning. After the awning was installed they completed the job adding a new gutter and tying into the downspout. After Ken and his helper left we had a slight rain shower. The awning dripped at one outside corner. The following day I phoned Ken and made arrangement for the repair. Ken came 2 days later and sealed the corner. Two weeks later we had a driving rain storm with hail. The awning leaked where it was attached to the house. I contacted Ken the next morning. Two hours later Ken was on the awning recoating the seam. Prior to leaving Ken checked the awning with a garden hose. I would definitely use Ken again and have referred my friends to him.
