Alex was recommended to us by our neighbor who was happy with his work and reasonable prices. At first Alex was responsive to our phone calls and visited several times to discuss the job in detail and to gather measurements. We scheduled an approximate start date, got an estimate and scope of work via email. The original price for labor was very reasonable and we were eager to get the work started. the week before the scheduled start date Alex asked to delay for two more weeks, and raised the price of labor by over 100%. When the two weeks were up he delayed again, and stopped responding to my husband's emails. I called him one last time on 2/27/12, when he said he would come in 2 weeks (on 3/12/12) to start. We have not seen or heard from him since. Alex was pleasant, professional and polite at first, but disappearing is completely unacceptable. We wasted 3 full months waiting for him to start.
Description of Work: We contacted Alex for repairs to our rear addition damaged by termites and water.

I WOULD HIRE THEM IF I NEEDED ANYTHING DONE ON THE HOUSE.
Description of Work: THEY INSTALLED A DOOR, WINDOW, AND KITCHEN EXHAUST SYSTEM AND SOME BRICK WORK.
