ACTUAL SAVINGS

He is nice, honest, and tells you what he can and cannot do. His prices are fair and he shows up when he says he will. He does not take on something he is not going to finish. He can do everything from electrical to plumbing. He can also do woodwork, painting, carpeting, floors, and tile work. The scheduling has been perfect. We have used him several times before and have been using him for about 10 years now.

Lee has done a huge amount of work on this remodeling project, for this particular portion he was performing finishing work -- touch up painting, installing motion lights, replacing faucets, and taking care of any missing trimwork.  He cleaned as he worked -- my house isn't that clean.  As always, he was helpful & professional, and went over the details of what he would do & how he would do it so I could make any needed decisions.  I was in the house doing windows in preparation to rent the apts, and he helped fix a broken storm windown & was generally helpful as I did my work.  He's a joy to work with, and I'm grateful to have worked with him on many projects (including this one) over the years (since 2008).

I have used them before.  I actually use them all the time.  They do general handymen contracting kind of things.

Excellent service--came on a Saturday to give an estimate and had it done by Tuesday.

I called & scheduled an appt for an estimate on some work. He answered the phone the first time I called, we spoke for a bit about the work, and scheduled the estimate appt. He missed our estimate appt, but called the next day to apologize & reschedule. He gave me a very reasonable estimate, and the work was done very well.

These were the painters from hell. They dripped paint on and painted over the stained, natural woodwork and let it dry, thereby ruining it. They painted over the wall sockets. Parts of the wall looked like they had three coats while others looked as if they weren't touched. They used no tape or painting guides. It appeared as if they had no plan other than to just slap paint on the walls. One worker stepped in paint and tracked it over the carpet. He was doing so badly the owner sent him home. The men brought into my house were from the owner's roofing crew and were not experienced painters. I wound up firing the owner before he or his crew ever got to the third bedroom. The owner apologized, said he never should have left them alone. He never even returned to pick up his drop cloths and ladders. He got the $200 dollars deposit I paid him. Since the contents of three bedrooms was in my living room and almost every other part of the house, I had to do the job myself.

They were very efficient and explained everything. When it rained they called to say they couldn't work because of the weather. We were impressed that someone answered right away. We were also originally quoted a higher rate and it ended up being less so we were real pleased with price.

They were a bit late. They took too much time to get the job done. It was hard for me to get them to come back and finish the work. However, they are really good electricians.

Beautiful work. He came and did the work early so I could get my drapes hung. It was great service.

Mr. Sanford completed the work in two days, working until late hours and even on Easter. We were very pleased with his services and impressed with his work ethic. He was responsible, did a very good job. We would hire him again in a second.

I went out and bought a device that is supposed to heat the pipe at a certain temperature. He put the device on. He couldn't guarantee us a time but he came quickly during a snowy night.

He's very reasonable and comes very quickly when you need him.

I HAVE HAD HIM DO SEVERAL THINGS FOR ME. IT IS AMAZING THAT ONE MAN CAN HAVE SO MUCH KNOWLEDGE ABOUT, SO MANY THINGS. HE GIVES ME A COMPLETE LIST, ITEMIZED BY COST. HE HAS GRACIOUSLY TOSSED IN A COUPLE OF TINY JOBS FOR FREE.

He shows up on tie and does a great job for me. He's a little busy right now, but I'll keep trying!

This was a real difficult job. There were a million different things we wanted them to do, and we always came up with add ons. A lot of unexpected problems were found that made it more difficult than expected. Lee's team did an excellent job. They would show up as early as 6:30 AM and work uninterrupted until past 10PM. They never complained about all the add ons we threw at them and always charged a fair price. They threw in a lot of add ons for free. The price was less than half of what others quoted us. We had a front door which would not close. Many others tried to fix it without success, and Lee fixed it for free. The quality of work was top notch, and they really took their time and did not rush. They also finished everything requested in the job, which is a first for me. We plan on having them back to do more work on our new house!

He was on time, nice, funny & he did the work he said he would.

Lee & Robbie were great. He actually answered the phone when I called (I'm used to leaving a message for a contractor & never hearing back). He was able to do the work within a couple days of the call, showed up on time, did a good job, & charged a very reasonable price. He is friendly, professional, & very honest. I plan on calling Lee for any upcoming needs.

We were expecting another handy man who never showed, so I called Lee when these issues had become an emergency. Came by on short notice. Was very courteous; would certainly hire again.

LEE ARRIVED ON TIME AND COMPLETED ALL THE WORK THAT I ASKED OF HIM. I ALSO INQUIRED INTO HOW TO CORRECT A LOOSE ELECTRICAL OUTLET IN MY LIVING ROOM. NOT ONLY DID LEE TAKE THE TIME TO FIX THE LOOSE OUTLET, HE DID NOT CHARGE ME FOR THE WORK. LEE CLEANED UP AFTER HIMSELF AND STAYED FOCUSED ON THE TASK AT HAND. VERY PROFESSIONAL AND POLITE.

I PLACED A CALL AT ABOUT 1:15 IN THE AFTERNOON, AND LEN SANFORD SAID HE COULD MAKE IT TO MY HOME IN ABOUT 2 HOURS. BY 3:00 HE ARRIVED. HE REPLACED SOME SCREWS IN THE DOOR HINGES WHICH HELPED TO REALIGN THE DOOR WITH THE DEADBOLT OPENING. HE ALSO REALIGNED THE OPENING FOR THE DOORKNOB LOCK BY RE-CHISELING THE EXISTING OPENING. THE JOB WAS DONE IN ABOUT 30 MINUTES. LEN MADE IT CLEAR THAT THIS WAS PROBABLY JUST A TEMPORARY FIX UNTIL WE CAN DECIDE ON A MORE PERMANENT SOLUTION. LEN IS A VERY LIKEABLE INDIVIDUAL, AND WE WOULD DEFINITELY CALL UPON HIM AGAIN FOR HANDYMAN SERVICES.

HE DID A GREAT JOB.

ARRIVED ON TIME, COMPLETED WORK FOR THE AGREED-UPON PRICE. HE AND HIS ASSISTANT WERE POLITE AND FRIENDLY. I FELT COMFORTABLE WITH THEM WORKING IN MY HOUSE. I WOULD HIRE THEM AGAIN FOR OTHER ODD JOBS.

DIFFICULTY IN COORDINATING BID APPOINTMENT (LATE) AND SOME LACK OF COMMUNICATION (DUE TO OTHER CUSTOMERS/PROJECTS). ONCE THE JOB WAS STARTED LEE FREQUENTLY PROVIDED A STATUS OF HIS PROGRESS, WHICH INCLUDED ANY SURPRISE PROBLEMS AND SUGGESTIONS ON HOW TO FIX THESE PROBLEMS. HE'S VERY PERSONABLE AND VERY REASONABLY PRICED. I COULDN'T FIND ANYONE TO BEAT HIS PRICE! HE'S ALSO CUSTOMER COST CONSCIENTIOUS WHEN SHOPPING FOR ITEMS AND PARTS. HE'S A HANDYMAN THAT DOES A VERY NICE JOB WITH GOOD CLEAN UP.
