Terrible company and even more unprofessional. They were assigned to me via my HSA and were not able to fix the problem; however, they reported back to the HSA that they did.

My home warranty company set up for Ace Appliances to come out and perform repairs on my fridge. They never came at their allotted time. Their front office never called me back. I spoke to my home warranty, and they conferenced in Laura from Ace Appliances. She insisted that she had only 1 slot available for me, and when I refused that slot, she hung up saying that "she was done with this phone call". The home warranty company is trying to find me another service provider. I will never interact with Ace Appliances again.

Nearly impossible to get someone on the phone at this place. I called and left several messages before finally getting an appointment (I had to call them, they never called me back). Asked them to please call me prior to arrival as home was vacant and I would need to leave work to meet them. Did not receive a phone call. I did receive and email that a technician was engaged route but was 2 minutes away (meanwhile I am 30 minutes away). I tried calling the office but no answer. I rushed to the house in hopes he would call when he realized no one was home or he would possibly wait around for a few. No luck. He was gone. I never received a call to say sorry we missed you or even reschedule. I would just take your deductible and put it towards a new appliance before dealing with this company. Complete waste of time.

Filed a warranty claim with the home warranty company and was allocated ACE appliance repair. We scheduled an appointment for a Friday. After reviewing the company, especially with respect to home warranty service, we decided we were better off replacing the appliance ourselves and not dealing with them. We called them several days ahead of the scheduled appointment to cancel and Angel, who answered the phone, said she didn't see us on their schedule anyway. Angel was the individual that initially scheduled our appointment, though she seemed confused as to what day of the week it was at the time. Anyway, since we weren't on the schedule, she acknowledged we were effectively cancelled. Saturday morning, the repair guy showed up at the house. We told him we had already cancelled and he left. ACE then attempted to collect our warranty fee from the warranty company. We had to file a dispute with the warranty company to clear the balance on our account. Highly recommend you look elsewhere for appliance repair. These guys also have an F rating on the BBB due to failure to respond to complaints.

Came in response to a home warranty call. They looked at my refrigerator and told me that it needed a new fan, and that it would take 7-10 days to get one. Nineteen days have gone by with no contact from them. I tried calling but it just goes to an answering machine. As far as I can tell they took my money and have no intention of ever coming back to complete the repair.

After a call into Ace in early November regarding a Maytag that was acting up, a guy came over fairly promptly - within the week.  The problem is that he called from a blocked cell phone number - which no one really answers - to tell me he was at my house.  I guess I should have answered, but then we had to set up a new time for the visit.  So, that was a few days that were wasted.
When he did arrive again he explained that a computer part was needed for the unit.  He gave no receipt, no paperwork of any kind.  I then had to place several calls into Ace to try and figure out what was going on with the status.  Did the part need to be ordered?  Did they have it in stock?  Did the repairman even place the call to order the part yet?  This took about 11 business days to figure out.  The secretary at Ace was absolutely no help.  She seemed incredibly unorganized, although perhaps that's a symptom of the company as a whole.  The average phone call was roughly 12 minutes figuring out who I was, what my name was, what my address is, the name of the repairman that came out (remember he didn't leave any paperwork), and what the status of the repair ticket was.
Finally the part is in!  Nov. 30th I called (because they've never called me) to ask about the status and get a time scheduled for an appointment.  We agreed upon Dec. 1 from 9am-12pm.  It's currently 12:56 and I haven't heard anything - and of course after trying to call them back I only get an answering machine.
Will these guys ever show up?  Who knows?  Perhaps I'll post an update if and when they do.
Until then, use another company.  Your blood pressure will thank you.

15 minutes into my repair window a very rude woman called me to tell me that "uh, a van broke down and we may not be at the appointment on time, but we'll do our best to get there".  The appointment window came and went, no repair person, no phone call.  My phone calls to them were unanswered.  I waited 6 hours before giving up on them showing up, or answering their phones.  Messages left on their voice-mail were not returned.

came over during time window that he gave us.  Checked refrigerator, which is old and had been making increasing amounts of noise when it runs.  He said nothing needed repair; something was vibrating and creating the noise so he adjusted it.  It is much quieter now.  Since it is 30+ years olds we had expected it would be a big repair or even not fixable.  He charged only an extremely small charge for coming over and checking it.  Much, much less than I expected.

The service was needed for the gas dryer. After dryer was on for a short time, we began smelling gas. When checked, the clothing was not drying and when the dryer was turned off there was no more smell of gas. The first day the technician changed the coils and started to clean the vent. The vent is exceptionally long and elbowed and  he was not able to complete the cleaning with the equipment he had. Two technicians returned the next day to finish the cleaning.

Response from ACE Appliance Repair

"Customer called the day before and stated that he needed his refrigerator serviced. Appointment was scheduled for between 2-4 the next day. At 3 pm on the day of the apt, customer called and asked if we were going to be late. I told the customer that I'd call the tech and ask what time he'd be at the customer's house. I also told the customer that we shouldn't be late because our schedule was working out fine that day, but if we were to be late, that it wouldn't be for more than a half hour. I placed a call to the tech, he didn't answer because he was busy on another house call. Customer called back 5 minutes later stating he couldn't wait all day and that he needed to know if he needed to buy a new fridge and that he needed to go buy ice to save the food in his fridge. I told the customer that I hadn't talked with my tech yet and was waiting on his call. Customer left his house and tech showed up at 3:55 pm on time. Customer wasn't there and then called back at 5 pm. I told him I was sorry about how this all turned out. Customer stated he already ordered a new fridge and that he was an Angie's List user that was going to leave a scathing review. I said I understand, and got hung up on. Note: Customer had over 24 hours to buy any ice he may have needed to save food. We showed up on time within our 2 hour window. Most companies give 8-12 hour windows. I was very apologetic at the time."

My front loader washing machine stopped draining, and I managed to troubleshoot the problem mostly by myself, but was worried I didn't fix it completely and/or would not put it back together right. I immediately headed to Angie's list and called some of the highest-rated and-reviewed repairman only to discover that a few of them won't deal with front loaders.  ACE called back soon after I left my message, and Joe assured me that they work on front loaders.  He was able to fit me in the same day, was on time, friendly, quick/efficient.  He also then headed to a rental property to check on a washing machine issue there, and called to let me know that the washing machine was so old and the repairs that would be needed so expensive that he recommended just buying another washer.  Honest, very reasonable rates--I highly recommend Joe/ACE and will absolutely use them again in the future!

Joe came to the house to repair a burner on my cooktop. A simple repair became complex due to the condition of the burner. Joe performed some major surgery on the burner and was then able to locate a discontinued part to complete the job. Service was above and beyond!! I really appreciated the tenacity in solving this problem and the level of communication every step of the way. Thank you Joe and thank you ACE.

It took a little while to get them out here but once they came out, they did a good job. The person that I used to have retired and so when I called them, they gave me ACE Appliance Repair and so I called him and it took a while to get my call returned and they didn’t show up the first time that they said they did. They rang the bell but they didn’t call and I didn’t hear them then they made another appointment and they didn’t come that time and they came at the wrong time and then finally they came and they fixed everything and it was fine but it took 3 tries. They actually gave me a discount because he had been late. He gave me 25% off so he did make up for it. They were very friendly. Once I got them, they were good. I discussed all the problems with him and he assured me that he was going to be speaking with his office person so I think a lot of it was just miscommunication.

I have had lots of dealings with repair people in the past and this was the best I have ever had, I truly appreciated the phone calls to

keep me informed.  I wrote this review the same day as the washer was repaired but for some reason it was not publisher right   away.

I had left message after hours on Friday. Was really pleased they called me Saturday morning and was even happier when they were able to stop by that day. They diagnosed error message and it turned out to be a blockage in the drain system. I guess fairly easy fix but I sure did not know how to do it. They had it fixed and cleaned up withinn 20 minutes. Also I had misunderstood cost of the service call and wrote them a check double on what they had actually quoted. I was very happy when they caught my mistake so i could write a new check.
All in all a very positive experience.

My Kenmore washing machine was posting a "lid can't be locked" message that I couldn't trouble shoot myself, so I called a professional.   It turned out to be a broken drain pump.  The pump itself was expensive ($149.00), but the labor was reasonable ($90.00).  After some trouble finding our out-of-the-way house, Joe did an excellent job.  He was knowledgeable, managed to get the part later that morning, and finished before noon!  It's great to be able to do laundry again.  Joe was efficient and personable.  I will definitely use this provider in the future.

My service was excellent and I would highly recommend Ace Appliance Repair.

When I called for service, I reviewed the symptom's of the problem with Mr. Fazio and he knew exactly what was wrong and scheduled a next day appointment.  He arrived on time for the appointment and was very courteous and professional during his visit, and my oven was fixed within minutes. I was impressed that he took the time to explain what he was doing to fix the problem. He was respectful of my home and cleaned up after the repair.

I will use his company in the future and will recommend ACE Appliance Repair to others.  Many thanks to Mr. Fazio!

We had other people look at it (the exhaust vent) and they didn’t even know how to fix it. The guy from Ace Appliance took it apart, had it diagnosed within 15 minutes, ordered the part, and came back out to fix it. The vent repair was about $75 and the dishwasher repair was about $100.They were excellent! I’ve recommend them to friends.
