Mark (the owner) is very polite and punctual.  He replaced 4 gate valves with 4 ball valves in approximately 2.5 hours.  One of the ball valves was installed in a way which prevented it from being shut off.  That is because the handle of the ball valve was obstructed by the floor joist which prevented it from being swung over to the "closed position".  I had to bring this oversight to his attention.  Had I not been watching him, he would have packed up his tools and departed (leaving me to discover the problem months later when I actually needed to shut off the water supply).  I tested all the ball valves after he left  and was paid.  Unfortunately, he forgot to tighten the packing nut on two other valves which caused them to drip when in the closed position.  I called him, and he provided instructions on how I could fix the problem myself.  Given that he has been associated with the plumbing business since the 1960's I had to rate his work an "F" for such a simple assignment.   I will assume the 4 new valves cost $60.00.  That means his labor charge was $168/hour  ($420 / 2.5 hours).

Mark responded very quickly despite his busy schedule.  We had a massive leak that we thought was due to a frozen pipe, but he found the problem quickly (a cap on a pipe had blown off) and repaired it equally quickly.  He was very mindful of the need to minimize any collateral damage to our walls and floors, which we really appreciated.  His price was extremely affordable, and he was friendly and professional.  We will definitely use him again and would recommend him to anyone looking for plumbing services.  Thanks, Mark!

HE CHARGED ME FOR GOING TO THE STORE THAT WAS CLOSED- CANT U CALL FIRST THEN REPLACED FAWCETT WITH UGLY HANDLES HE HAD LAYING AROUND SHOP I REPEATED CALLED AND ASKED FOR SOME NICER LOOKING HANDLES BUT SINCE THE BILL IS PAID THE Calls go unanswered He admitted the Fawcett HANDLES WERE UGLY THATS WHY THEY DIDNT SELL!!!!!!

Able plumbing came approx 1 hr. after the call was made. Through various steps identfied that the leak was coming from deterorating caulk around the shower basin.

He has always been very responsive, which is important for me considering my experience with contractors I have used in the past. It took him a while to do the $14000 job but he did a good job. I was happy with the work he did for the price I paid. I like him.

The service turned out very well. He is very knowledgeable. The best thing I can say about him is that I felt all of his advice was the best professional advice he could give. His suggestions on the work product were given to make sure that the job was done correctly. The quality of the workmanship in relation to the value is exceptional. He is my go-to guy now.

We utilize Able for our routine Heating and Air Conditioning maintenance twice a year and have always been satisfied with their prompt and extremely courteous service. On a Sunday in January, our furnace was not working. We left a message with Able on their voicemail and within an hour we had a call back. They came out to us within one hour of talking on the phone to review our furnace. They had the problem fixed in no time at all! We were grateful that they came out on a Sunday! The person who came out, I forget his name, was on his way to his grandaughters recital and still came to us. We were glad the fix was easy and he was able to make the recital without missing it!

Mark was insightful and made sound suggestions to help reduce energy costs for our building operations. He purchased all the materials and worked consistently on the project and updated his progress with us daily. The work was completed on time and all areas cleaned. His professionalism was greatly appreciated and made the project flow smoothly. He now services and maintains our heating and cooling equipment on a regular basis.
