Victor James Plumbing & Heating

A couple of years ago we had an urgent toilet plumbing work that needed to be done over the weekend. I called the Victor James and, after explaining the situation, they were able to provide me with a summary of the potential issue and an initial estimate over the phone. We also scheduled an appointment right away. The Victor James team was very punctual, courteous and straightforward. The work was well done, they left the work area clean and tidy, and no issues up to this date. Thank you.

Victor James sent a plumber out to quote us for a job. It was $1400.00 total. We were able to do the excavating ourselves, so they quoted us $800.00. Jim, the owner came out after this to look at the job and quoted my husband $1200.00 for the same job. My husband explained we were quoted less and he instatntly dropped the price to $800.00 again. Unfortunately, our excavator did not go deep enough. We felt it would be best if Victor James just did all the work moving forward. Jim came back only to now quote us $2000.00 - $600.00 more than the original quote. At first he would not give an explanation, then said it was more involved. I asked what was more involved and what constitutes the higher price. He wouldn't say what or why and then hung up the phone on me!!!! Jim is passive aggressive and a con artist. He will over charge and take you for all you can. No explanation of quote. BEWARE!!!

Technician was very polite and introduced himself. For right to the job after covering his shoes with show covers. Talked out the issue and made helped us make the best decision for the issue.

I rate them very highly. They have done a bunch of different things for me. There was a lot involved with it.  He is very good. He is responsive. If you are having an emergency, they will come and get to you right away.  The cost was fair.  They give you a coupon for repeat service.  I have never had to have him come back or have any problem. I have had him in an emergency at my old house when the water heater blew. When the water heater blew up we were running around like chickens with no heads and they came right out so it was good. I highly recommend him.

I never had them but my sister likes them and she's very tight about the coupons that are available to save you money when they come out which is nice. My mom needed a higher toilet installed and they happen to have one on the truck and we had that done a year ago beautifully. It still functions beautifully. It's a really nice piece. Everything they do, my mother and sister are very pleased with. My sister even likes the girl that answers the phone. She's always trying to fit you in and she calls you right back; they're very prompt. They're very trustworthy and she like that about them. They might be a little bit  high; the price is comparable with everyone else.

They were absolutely incredible. They're quick, responsive. They're reasonable in pricing. I can't say enough well about them.

I would recommend them. I use them all the time. I'm on a first name basis with them. Their prices are definitely reasonable. They are courteous, professional and prompt. Overall they are a good organization and I am very happy with them. They are very responsive. I really like them and have had a good interaction with them.

have used these guys repeatedly for plumbing/heating/air conditioning over the years. Didn't know they could do basement waterproofing till we had a flood and got wildly overpriced estimates from other companies for work we didn't really need. They are honest, reasonably priced and do good, reliable work. They've always been available and responsive to emergencies we've had in the past and this time they saved us a lot of money we didn't need to spend. I wouldn't use anyone else.

Outside sewer clogged and started backing up into the basement. Excellent Job performed. He came within an hour of our calling him and stayed for several hours until the job was done. Very courteous gentleman. Pointed out a problem with our drain cover that we had never noticed before. He really took the time to do a complete and thorough job.

THEY MAKE A POINT OF SENDING THE SAME PLUMBER TO YOUR HOME. THEY ALWAYS GIVE AN ESTIMATE PRIOR TO DOING ANY WORK, SO THERE IS NEVER A SURPRISE ABOUT THE COST. THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL, THEY COVER THEIR FEET AND ARE CONSCIENTIOUS IN THEIR WORK.

CALLED AT 9AM. THEY GAVE US AN APPOINTMENT FOR 11AM. PLUMBERS ARRIVED ON-TIME. EVALUATE THE WORK, GAVE US AN ESTIMATE AND COMPLETED THE WORK WITHIN AN HOUR. VERY POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL. GREAT SERVICE!!
