NICK NAUTA FOR PAINTING

Nick has painted most of the interior of our home over the years, and he has always been reliable and does great work. His prices are better than most, and he gets the job done quickly. He is trustworthy, and does all of the painting himself (he does not use any subcontractors or workers whatsoever). We would recommend him to anyone.

The trim color did not change so not all the trim needed to be repainted, such as the crown moulding. The trim was done in oil paint which a lot of painters do not do at all or do not know how to do correctly, but Nick did a beautiful job. He sanded all the trim first, put on primer and then a final coat. We had just put in wood Pella double hung windows with the permanent grilles on the glass (one window has 16 panes and the other 2 windows have 12 panes each) so a lot of detail work was involved. We also took down a door between the family room and the kitchen and Nick took off some unneeded trim, spackled and sanded and now you can't tell that a door was ever there! Nick is very clean, does not blast music and does not smoke. I would say he spent between 35-40 hours on this job, he really took his time and did it right. He did the exterior of our home 2 years ago and again, did beautiful work. I highly recommend Nick Nauta for painting!

Nick did a fantastic job. I've used him in the past with the same result. He is friendly and does an excellent job getting the line straight b/w the wall and ceiling. He even worked on the weekend to meet a deadline I had at no extra cost!
As an added bonus he consulted with us on out own DIY painting projects!
