We were very impressed with Jeff's service and the work was very professionally done.  Highly recommend.  It was worth the cost to not have the hassle of trying to find all parts, the time and effort to install everything, and to have everything matching.  It has been 9 months since the work was done and my son is now running everywhere and going wild and it is very reassuring to know that our house is fully childproofed.

$40
Had them come out to provide a quote for baby proofing.  Apparently, they charge for the quote since he charged my wife $40 after telling her the following:
- they can't do anything about old 2 prong, ungrounded outlets
- they can't do anything about crank windows
- they can't do anything about a fireplace
- he made no mention at all regarding the issue of lead paint in our 100 year old house with some original doors and windows.
- his only comment for our unfinished but clean and large basement was that kids can't go down there, it isn't safe.
These are specifically the issues we wanted addressed.  What did he provide?  A quote for almost $1000 to install a handful of cabinet locks, outlet covers, and 3 baby gates.
Unless you have no hands, or for some other reason can't turn a screw driver for a couple hours I can't imagine what they provide besides a $40 charge for less information than I could get from Google.

nice job on the gates. he had to order a special sized gate but came back very quickly to install. some of the stuff you can do yourself like outlets, doorknobs, drawers, but if you have no time, good way to get it done.

We did use them and you can give them all A’s as well. They came over and gave us an estimate and then install a childproofing to place in our house. That was 4 months ago for $900.

Jeff was fantastic!  For busy parents, hiring a childproofing service is the best way to go!  We are so happy with him and with the work he performed.  Here's what we liked:
Timeliness & efficiency of service:
1. In only an hour consultation, Jeff provided great advice on where we needed babyproofing items and what products he would recommend.  He didn't try to upsell us on unnecessary items - just stuck to what was truly needed.  In a couple of instances, he advised against things we likely would have bought!
2.  On the day of installation, it only took Jeff 6 hours to do the entire house.  It would have taken me significantly more hours than that to pick the items, install the items, etc.
3.  Scheduling both the consultation and the installation was quick and easy!
Quality of materials:
Everything that Jeff recommended had the right balance of quality, good aesthetic and price value.
Price:
In comparing the cost of like materials in the open market to the total we paid for the service, we found that Jeff only cost us $100-$200 more than if we had installed it ourselves and we saved sooo much time. And ensured we actually got it done before our little one was tumbling down stairs!!!

He's so good at installing this baby stuff, that you almost think you could do it yourself (until I realized that when we tried it ourselves, it took 8 hours to install one gate incorrectly).  This was so worth the cost for ease of mind.  Kidproteq will save you so much time and make you feel so good about making your home safer for your baby.  We had Jeff come when our baby was 11 mo. and after trying safety proofing ourselves.
