Dilworth's Custom Design

We had a beautiful main bath remodeled last year by Dilworth Custom Design.  Dave, Dan, and the entire team that worked on the project did an excellent job.  Everyone was friendly, helpful, and honest about any and all services to be provided.  They were on time for all appointments, the estimated time frame for project was spot on, and the quality of work outstanding and on budget.  I called for a minor issue a year later, and they returned my phone call promptly to schedule a time to come out.  Dan was there that same week, and issue was fixed, no problem.  I would highly recommend Dilworth Custom Design.

The entire process was a joy. Seriously. Everyone was professional, fun, detail driven and committed to making sure I got the kitchen I wanted (even when I wasn't sure what that was). They helped me design the open layout I was looking for and to select tile, backsplash and counters that would work together and achieve my aims of an easy-to-clean kitchen.
The same guys turned up every day --- early --- and left my house cleaner than when they arrived. (One day they made more mess than they had expected and quickly called in their crew of cleaners, who also came back at the end of the job to shine everything up). They were polite, relaxed, efficient and extremely experienced. They handled last-minute requests with good grace, and finished the project on time. I missed them when they were gone!
The custom cabinetry is exactly what I wanted -- something I couldn't have got from stock cabinets -- and I'm not convinced I would have saved much money at all with stock cabinets. 
I never felt pressured. I did feel a strong sense of pride and investment in the work from everyone involved. Their quote was higher than some of the people I spoke to, lower than one, but in terms of value for money, I believe I got a bargain.

The Dilworth's were an exceptional crew. The start to finish and all the in betweens went perfect. They are the most friendly professional group of guys and gals that we have met in some time. Any questions we had were responded to immediately and they made them selves available at a moments notice. The price was more than fair for all the work they provided to ease my pain of doing it myself. We feel so blessed to have met these wonderful people and have recommended them to many people. Thank you Dilworth's for a job well done.

They were fine. I like that it was a one stop shop, and they had all the fixtures, and tiles and everything in their showroom. You didn't have to go to different places to pick the faucets and the tiles, and that was the biggest thing. I thought the price was a little high. We had one problem, and they came back right away and fixed it.

They were wonderful.  I was kept up to date on progress.  They were very professional, cleaned up each night, and finished on time.  I would highly recommend them.

We visited the Dilworth's showroom in late February.  Dave Dilworth came out in March to measure and get an idea of what we had in mind. He gave us a full binder of references, and also gave us a base price. Next,  we began the design process.  In April we completed the design and ordered the appliances.  We got a call the first week of May letting us know when the work would begin and the work schedule of our team.  On May 20th our team (Tim and Dave) arrived and began to remove the cabinets, appliances, ceiling and floors in the kitchen.  Each day they would tell us what they would be doing and they cleaned their work area daily.  Our team rewired the entire kitchen and ran new plumbing.  They installed the ceiling, lights, floor, cabinets, sink and appliances.  Then they started on the powder room.  They installed the new floor, cabinets and countertop.  They removed a layer of brick from the fireplace and installed the new mantle and granite hearth.  At the last minute I asked them to install lights in two other rooms which required cutting and replacing drywall in rooms with no easy access.  We also added a new tile floor in the laundry room (not originally part of the project).  The work was completed on June 14th. 
The project could not have gone smoother.  The team was exceptionally professional, courteous and flexible with our last minute requests.  All throughout the project Natalie (from Dilworth's) kept in touch with us to ensure all was going well.  After the team completed the main work Dan came out to install special order racks and accessories.
The most significant aspect of the cabinets is the quality. You can see and feel the difference. The quality and attention to detail is evident when you first look at the kitchen, and only gets better when you work in it. We have never seen a kitchen so well designed before, and we have never before seen a work crew who were so highly skilled in all aspects of their trade. Dilworth's has truly set a new standard.
We highly recommend Dilworth's Custom Design based on the quality of the work and professionalism of the employees.  They were an absolute pleasure to have in our home and we will hire them again for the upstairs bathrooms.

We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE our new kitchen and flooring! There are not enough nice things we can say about it and the company and people who made it all possible. We enjoy it every time we are in there, which is all the time, as I do a lot of cooking! My husband and I are always remarking to each other how wonderful some new aspect of our kitchen is and how much we love it. By the time we get done running through the list of all the different things we enjoy and how awesome it is, we've itemized every single thing!

They did an amazing job from start to finish in every aspect of the project. From the initial consultation, to the design process, to the guidance in selection of materials/products, to the custom-built cabinets, and the actual installation of every part of the kitchen itself. They were very hands-on and paid attention to our needs and preferences, making sure we would be completely happy with the final result.

We looked at a couple of other companies before making our final decision to go with DCD, but nobody in the area does what they do, and didn't inspire the confidence in us that things would be done correctly. We had a good feeling about DCD from the beginning when we first started researching cabinet-makers and kitchen remodelers, and they did not disappoint. We liked that they make their own cabinets and do everything from start to finish in-house, rather than using sub-contractors. We are very picky customers with high standards when it comes to things being "just right," and they were very attentive to all the little details that are important to us.

They are true craftsmen and a company dedicated to customer service and standing behind their product and delivering what they promise. It was so refreshing for a change to work with people who take pride in what they do, rather than the all-too-common mediocre or substandard job you see nowadays from so many contractors. Our two installers, Nate and Jamie, did a fantastic job and were very responsive to all of my nit-picky concerns, often anticipating and addressing something before I did. I would request them as our crew for any future jobs as well.

Everyone at DCD was a complete pleasure to work with, and made what is normally a stressful event very enjoyable. We would highly recommend them to everyone doing a home-improvement project and will be using them again when we renovate our master bathroom.

We have used them twice for big renovations. We like that they are professional, courteous, and clean. Projects were done on time and within budget. There were no surprises in the bill and nothing that was not done to perfection. Everything was upfront. They are not cheap, but it is custom cabinets.

It's rare you get lucky enough to chose a company for their services (kitchen cabinets in our case) and have such an incredible experience as we did with Dilworth's.  We truly feel no one could top their craftsmanship, attention to detail, and professionalism.  On top of ALL of that, every single person we dealt with from the front desk and on was SO warm, kind, friendly, and helpful.  We were constantly contacting them with a little tweak, change, or question and they never let us down or made us feel like we were being annoying.  I could go on and on, but I assure you, you CANNOT GO WRONG with choosing Dilworth's for your kitchen, bath, etc. re-do projects.  It would've been such a stressful situation if not for the Dilworth brothers and their staff.  They make you feel like one of the family.  All of this with along with cabinets that look like the finest furniture.  We could NOT be more happy with our very lucky choice of Dilworth's.

I would rate them very highly. We are very pleased with the quality and timeliness of the work. We enjoyed the fact that it was one family we were dealing with. Everyone doing the work was in constant communication with each other. They did everything exactly as expected. They were also able to come up with a few creative ideas.

We checked with several kitchen remodeling centers and they all seemed to take responsibility for just one part of the job.  My husband wanted someone who would handle everything.  Also, the custom design we were looking for was something several contractors told us they could not do. We heard that Dillworth would handle all the details and we decided to go with them.  They were punctual, courteous, and always cleaned up each day.  The quality of the work was exceptional. After the job was finished and we had a concern about one hinge almost a year later, they checked it and replaced it.  We really were so happy with the entire experience and would definitely recommend Dillworth Design.
