Auto Service
I had been bringing my cars to Black Forest since 2009 and I was satisfied with the service, and I had even refered a few people there over the years.
On Oct 8, 2014 I arranged a pre-purchase inspection of a 11 year old BMW that was for sale at a Ford Dealership in Phoenixville.
Heyward (the owner of Black Forest) did the pre-purchase inspection and told me that the car was good but needed rear coil springs. I specifically asked about whether there were any oil leaks and I was told that there were none. So, I purchased the car that same morning. Later that afternoon I noticed a pool of oil on my driveway. I then brought the car to two different mechanics thereafter who both put the car on a lift for me, took off the skid pads below the engine and showed me the extent of a significant oil leak that had been going on for a while based on the new and old oil all over the nearby areas. The oil leak was from the valve cover gasket as well as from the oil filter housing gasket. The leak from the valve cover gasket could be seen easily without even having to put the car on a lift. Neither mechanic thereafter who saw the car, could believe that a pre-purchase inspector could ever miss this condition because the oil leak was so extensive and obvious.
After getting a few estimates, I hired a mechanic to fix the leaks and to replace belts that were over exposed to the oil. It cost me $1,200.00.

Auto Service
I have used Black Forest for most of the work on this car since 2009, and have received consistently excellent service. Hayden fixes things right the first time. He won't use used parts. Work is done promptly, on time and for the quoted price. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Auto Service
Black Forest explained the work required and that a replacement axle assembly with two boots and two new CV joints would have basically the same installed cost as a replacement boot alone. I took their advice and the replacement axle. Job done on time at the price quoted. Nice job. Friendly service. Will use them again. End of story.

They are wonderful. I would't have anyone else work on my automobile.
