Not well. They did not provide an accurate quote and blamed it on me. They were rude and impatient. They bailed on providing services, which involved lecturing me on the difference between a lock and a lock set. The main office abruptly hung up on me despite the fact that I was never rude or impertinent. They need to work on their professionalism and customer service. And their refusal to provide services left my client homeless, which is really the worst part of the entire experience.

We called West Philadelphia locksmith to change a set of locks. They said that they would be there at noon. We called them at 12:30 to see where the locksmith was, and the dispatcher said he was just finishing up a job and would be there in "a few minutes." It was 1:45 and after another call, the locksmtih would still be there in "a few minutes." I ended up cancelling because I didn't want to waste any more time. Next time, I'll go with someone who actually cares about customers.

Overall I was pleased with the service. It cost an extra $60 for the work done in addition to the rekeying services, but that seemed fair since dealing with those issues took an additional half hour of work. The locksmith was punctual and professional and gave me a range of payment options, including taking my credit card at the house.

Great overall. In terms of don'ts, they accommodated me, but don't expect to walk in close to closing with a service request and have it done same day. Call beforehand to check if they can do it if you need it quickly.

The service was good. They were really fast and pretty reasonably priced. I didn’t have any complaints. The price was about $200, but I also had them do one other thing. They seemed like a small, local and reliable operation. I don’t have anything to compare their price to since I have never had my locks changed on a new house before. I would use their services in the future too.

My front-door lock snapped at 4:30 in the afternoon.  I called West Philadelphia Locksmith, and they came out within 45 minutes.  (As I wrote above,) Jeff replaced the front door lock, and let us know that our older cylinder lock (I think that's what it's called?) and doorknob lock were still good.

My roommate handled the transaction, and said that it went well.  He was a perfectionist about the work - I suspect in part because we were paying him by the hour, and in part because he had a genuine interest in getting things right.

He also went the extra mile by informing us that the locks that had been in place when we bought the house (but which we never got keys for) were still operable.  He also gave us a few tips on how to prevent the new lock from breaking in the future.

This only happened yesterday, so I can't vouch for the durability of the repair.  I can, however, vouch for their prompt attention - and for their patience in dealing with my panic, as the lock broke when I was

Initially seemed great but then within a couple of weeks one lock did not work. They were very responsive and returned and fixed the job at no cost. However, the second technician admitted there were problems with the job done by the first. Very responsive, but a bit annoying to have to call them back to fix something in less than 3 months.

They showed up reasonably close to the time discussed and changed my locks. Provided honest opinions of pricing (what was worthwhile or not). Personable.

I had an excellent experience with the company. They were able to be here in about 15 minutes, as they were in the area. He assessed the situation and was able to remove the lock. It was very strenuous effort. The area had to be cleaned because of all the sand, and the new lock was installed on the door. I feel the locksmith company was very professional.

I discovered at 1:30 p.m. in the afternoon that our deadbolt could not be unlocked from the inside. The key just turned around and around not unlocking the deadbolt. I had to go out the back door and unlock the front door from the outside. I went on Angie's List and picked out West Philadelphia Locksmith because they are close and have good reviews. They were helpful on the phone and promised that someone will be out. A little before 4:00 p.m. Lou called and said he is on his way and arrived about fifteen minutes later. Within a few minutes he figured out the problem, found the part in his truck and explained the problem to me. The lock was repaired in about fifteen minutes. He did not charge me for the part saying that it is because it is so small so I only paid for the service charge which I thought was very decent of him. He was polite, helpful, friendly and efficient.

A very pleasant experience from the time I called until the time Lou, the locksmith, left. The time I called was twilight, and I needed to have the lock repaired right away. It was an emergency. At first they told me that I was out of their district; but when I told them that I had used their services before, they relented. They said they would call me back within five minutes in order to let me know when the repairman would arrive. They called and said that Lou was on his way. No sooner had I hung up the phone, Lou was at my door. Wow! That's promptness! He commented that my Medco keys were very hardy and that it was unusual for them to fail. He did his work as Sieglinde II (dogs name) barked through the entire process. He gave me the bill; I gave him my credit card. These guys do great work. I'd used them again and would recommend them highly.

Service was excellent!

I was very pleased with the work they performed. They were prompt, courteous and efficient. I was a little taken back when I overheard the technician ask what a fair labor cost would be for the work, and perhaps this is why I thought the figure too high. Next time, I will be sure to request an estimate before the work commences. In spite of this, I think the quality of the work was good, and I would call them again.

PROMPT, COURTEOUS AND PLEASANT. TECHNICIAN CAME BACK LATER IN THE EVENING WITH THE CORRECT PART AND INSTALLED IT AT NO EXTRA CHARGE. TOOK A PERSONAL CHECK WHICH WAS A WELCOME CHANGE FROM OUR PREVIOUS LOCKSMITH WHO REQUIRED CASH, A MAJOR INCONVENIENCE.

VERY PROFESSIONAL AND PROMPT. ACTUALLY CAME TO AN AREA OUT OF THE USUAL SERVICE AREA TO ASSIST ME WITH AN URGENT NEED TO CHANGE LOCKS.
